The next day comes by fast and I couldn't wait to talk with Artem at work. Though once I got there I felt like there was tension between us. After what happened last night I felt like something between us has changed and I just know he felt it... I guess not. Artem hasn't talked to me yet about the kiss we shared last night, and I do not think he will. He's been quiet like nothing has happened between us.
Not looking where I had been heading, I accidentally bumped into someone, falling onto the ground. "Ah, I'm sorry I wasn't watching where I was going," I apologized before even looking up to see who it was I ran into. When I looked up through my eyelashes to see who I, unfortunately, bumped into I was shocked, to say the least. It was Artem. He wouldn't respond, only giving me a worrisome glare.
Suddenly, he extended his arm waiting for me to grab it. His strong skillful hands wrapped around mine, pulling me back up to my feet.
"Watch where you're going next time." He responded with a sigh. He reached for my spilled documents. "Make sure you don't get these mixed up that would cause issues." Artem didn't seem too pleased by my sighting, which made me wonder if he regretted coming to my place last night. I wonder what goes on inside of his head.
Soon after finishing my documents I went to Artems office to give them to him. He looks through his window with his nicely made glasses, making him look even more beautiful. If I could, I would get Marius to paint this splendid sight upon the eyes, if he would finally allow it. I spent so much of my time on this man, I don't think it would be of much surprise anymore if I did send him a commission of him. I've ended up loving him, even if he doesn't feel the same anymore. What could I have done wrong last night?
He looks up while his face was a lightly shaded pink once again.
"May I help you y/n?" Artem said lightly almost knowing any second I could break.
"Here's the documents, if you could, I'd like you to please look over what I've done."
"Alright...Thank you" Artem replied.
Was he thinking about me while looking out the window?
"I'm sorry, is there anything else you need ms?"
"N-no, thank you" I say as I walk out, lightly shutting the door, making sure not to disturb Artem anymore than I already am.
TWO HOURS LATER
Once I get home I immediately fall to the ground in exhaustion, passing out.
Suddenly, the door opens to reveal a shocked Artem.
Artem was holding the paperwork, but not for long. For he dropped them in an instant. He immediately checks my pulse. Though I am still alive, I AM passed out. Artem ends up carrying me to his car to drive to the closest hospital. When I wake up about an hour or so later, I see Marius, Luke, Vyn all by my side, Though through all of them, I see Artem. Fallen asleep holding my hand.
"...Artem....?" I whispered, petting his soft hair.
You see him suddenly wake up, standing up and fastening his tie.
"Did you have a nice rest? Nothing serious is wrong, do not worry. When I came by to give you your paperwork back I noticed you laying on the floor, seeming lifeless, So I brought you here." Artem said.
"Thank you sir, Sorry for the trouble." I replied.
"...."
"No worries" He flashes a smile which makes me totally forget he was acting weird earlier today.
"Would you.. like to come over tonight? Make sure I am surely alright once more..?" I say, grinning.
