"AMY!!!" I hear as I run up stairs with hot tears in my eyes. "COME DOWN HERE YOU UNGRATEFUL BITCH!" I hear as I slam the door shut and lock it. Curled up in my blanket, I sob for a while. I later fall asleep.
I wake up with red eyes and a wet face. Walking into the bathroom, I saw a note that read-
"You always disappoint me with your attitude and you are just a waste of my time. I'm done with you and your bullshit. You're just another moody teenage girl.
- Chad (aka new ex)"
My heart breaks into pieces and I fall to the floor. My parents come up stairs and yell at me for my report card and I don't think they even care I'm hurt. I wonder if they ever have.
Later that night I look out my window and remember how amazing my child hood was. Then I remembered a story. Peter Pan. I wish it was real. I would live on an island and leave this place. Forever.
My clock hits 10:07 and I look out my window. "Okay" I say taking a deep breath. "I believe" I say looking out the window hoping to see something. After waiting a couple minutes I say it again "I believe. I believe." I look around with hope just falling away. "Of course it wouldn't happen it's just a fairy tale."
I want back to my bed and get under the covers. I close my eyes and am about to fall asleep but I see a black figure and sit up quickly. I squint my eyes and see that it's a human figure but it wasn't a human. "shadow" I say under my breath.
