After what happen at Afghanistan, Tony extract the shrapnel out and created Iron man but that is only by using the arc reactor as a battery to power the suit and his chest is recovered by the serum since the shrapnel was been taken out by his old friend in collage before he moved to MIT. Dr. Stephen Strange haven't see Tony since collage. Tony and Stephen are friends when they both bump each other for hurrying to class. That is where their friendship started and Tony only explained to Stephen about how he got his eye color change and why he is wearing mask everywhere he goes since Stephen often visit Tony's dorm to hangout and he by accident saw Tony without his contact lens. After they both graduate they stand in contact until it is cut off when Tony went missing for 3 months. After coming back from Afghanistan Tony still continue his dual life. He date Pepper for 2 years and broke up with her as she couldn't handle his iron man life.
After some years pass, he met Nick Fury Director of SHIELD that has been tracking him in the underworld to recruit him but he by pass them easily. Tony was in his home at Malibu fixing his iron man suit in his lab when he heard someone stepping through his lab with 2 other people. One is an assassin by the name of black widow and the other agent Coulson a SHIELD agent he met once during one of his nightly assassination that SHIELD is targeting. Tony smelled their scent and heard how their walk through his house since he can hear their footstep and heartbeat.
"Nick Fury Director of SHIELD, Natasha Romanoff or Natalie as Black Widow and lastly Agent Coulson. What do you need with me today?" ask Tony while turning around from his suit upgrade to face the three shock SHIELD agent. 'How can he knows us when we didn't made a sound and he looks like a God with that face' thought the 3 agent and Natasha blush a little red since They never see Tony Stark without a mask.

"How do you know Stark?" question Fury as his mind are spinning for answers.
"it is for me to keep for you to find out" answer Tony with a stoic face.
Suddenly Natasha strike his knife towards Tony's face when Tony caught her arm and lock her movement in place while holding a knife he keep on his legs on to Natasha's throat. Fury and Nick are confused and shock because in Tony Stark files it is said that he is a genius, mechanic and CEO not a skilled assassin.
"It seems that your stuck need a hand." whispered Tony huskily to Natasha ear and Natasha started to blush while stuttered a no. Tony let go of Natasha and giving questioning looks towards Nick and Coulson as the two blushed when they heard Tony whispered. They talk for around an hour about recruitment in which Tony will think about it since he has been busy with his double life.
When the time comes Tony will contact SHIELD since he has been checking out SHIELD and HYDRA. As they both have their own system and HYDRA has been reaching out to him or kidnapped him for the past few years as he debut as Reaper of Death. After such discussion, the SHIELD agents went home but Tony just do a be quiet gesture to the agents about his face.
Tony continue his daily life when suddenly hammer decided to ruin his time of relaxing by sending extremis to kidnap Pepper. After the ordeal with Hammer and his extremis army, he just continue his life but Tony has been getting an enemy at the Underworld where there is a new guy that wants to rule the underworld where assassin are free for being themselves without having any problem with the public as they are being paid quite handful.
