salem's sobs wracked through the whole house. the world heard her cries, and sympathized. the rain pouring from the dull clouds above was soothing, but for a girl who just lost the love of her life, it made it most obviously worse. the pit in her stomach grew as time passed, without floris. without floris, salem's eyes grew tired. she stayed up for many hours at a time, her sleep schedule shifting vigorously week after week. without floris, salem could not live the same. she could not move on. she could not breathe the same. she could not get out of bed, and have that enthusiastic energy coursing through her veins at the thought of writing another letter.

a month and 14 days without floris.
- AUTHOR NOTE
1.) thank you so much for reading. i do not know how i managed to make this without giving up, but i felt that this was a very good stress reliever book. i'm sorry it's short, with only a letter each girl every chapter, (besides the last one) but that's the purpose. i wanted to use poetic language as much as i could to really emphasize how death impacts some people, and how it can hurt even when you don't mean to.
2.) oh my god it hurt to write this. i think i cried almost 3 times.
3.) lol i swear i'm working on chapters for sorcery (no i'm not but i swear i'm trying guys- i have no motivation :C)
