Imperial Hotel, Tokyo

Hisashi sat there quietly, taking a sip of his favorite tea. Gold tips Imperial, he happily drunk his tea as it had reminded him how far the Blackhand had come under his leadership. It also gave him a feeling of assurance that once he'd retire and step down from the mantle of leadership, his son would take up said mantle and propel their organization to new heights.

Hisashi smiles at his thought, already sure of the future.

Suddenly, there's a knock on the door. Hisashi sets down his tea and straightens out his outfit, which was a businessman's suit. One of his favorites as it represents the degree of influence he wielded in Japan.

Walking over to the door, he quickly unlocks and opens it.

"Come in, come in!" He exclaimed.

Two men were outside, both wearing proper suits complemented by their fedoras with the only difference between them being the colors of their tie. One wore a bright red tie while the other a subtle grey tie.

One of the men cleared their throat, then he proceeded to speak.

"Good evening sir."

Both men followed this with a bow which displayed their respect for Hisashi, who was satisfied with their gesture.

Hisashi calmly lead them inside, allowing them to sit on the couch while he sat in a chair, perpendicular to the couch.

There was an uneasy silence, the two men nervous as a careless mistake might cost them everything. However, much to their relief, Hisashi broke the silence first.

"So, I assume you two are here to give me a report on our guests?"

Both men nod as the one with the red tie replies.

"Yes, sir. Their operations are fairly mediocre based on the standards you've set but they've expanded quite rapidly, considering the current situation in the villain underworld."

The other man added to the previous statement.

"Although their size is a bit underwhelming, they possess the talent and good quirks. Those two are the main reasons for their quick escalation in size."

Hisashi ponders on their statements. Sure the organization has cemented itself within Japan, that was one of its initial objectives after formation but it wasn't a bad thing to further consolidate its position. Which is the reason why he's been on a continuous streak in integrating new people.

Hisashi reached for his tea and took a sip, he then looks at the two men to his side. Both were wearing good poker faces but it was obviously clear for him that they're both extremely nervous and him taking a while to speak had amplified their nervousness. So, he decides to finally talk.

"Good. Good, so what did they think of our offer?"

The two men exchange glances with each other with one of them gulping as they didn't want to be the ones to break the news.

"Well?" Hisashi said as he radiated pressure.

The man with the grey tie took a deep breath and spoke.

"They...refused, sir."

Before he can continue, Hisashi shot him another question.

"Why" Hisashi's calm expression slowly was morphing into a deadly glare.

"W-well Sir, with how secretive the organization is... Their head thinks we are just some lowly crime organization looking on to piggyback of their success."
