I was looking at him from my seat as the familiar feeling of nervousness crawled up to my body.

Shaking, heart pounding so fast, and throat drying up, I looked at the black and white keys in front of me.

"Why am I so nervous?" I asked myself mentally before sighing and slowly positioned my fingers on the piano.

I lifted my head to look at him only to realize he was already looking at me and our gazes met.

He looks so handsome and well poised while holding the bow and the violin as he gave me an assuring look before he nodded.

His eyes sparkled - it always did - but something in those eyes told me something. His words spoke through his eyes, "Calm down, we can do this. Trust in your skills." He smiled and at that moment, my fingers slowly danced gracefully through the familiar black and white keys.
