"..." Quiet sobs came from my mouth as I hugged my pillow tightly. Feelings of guilt were present in my heart due to the sudden outburst of my mother earlier.

°earlier..

"(Y/n)! What is this!? Why is your grade on English A only!? I can't believe you didn't get an A+! What kind of disappointment of a daughter you are!" My mom shouted at me after she read the report card. I could only bow my head down at her as she yelled at me about my grades. "You disappointment! I can't believe I raised someone who's dumb." Her words hitted me like a bullet train. It made me want to cry, but I kept them to myself as I slowly left the living room and went up to my room. As I closed the door, salty tears dropped from my eyes.

"I'm sorry..I'm sorry you had a disappointment as a child.." I quietly sobbed, afraid the woman downstairs might hear my sobs. I got up from the floor and just sat on my bed, softly crying out tears.

°present time..

*ring ring*, *ring ring* a loud ring came from my phone and it showed the caller ID of Senju. "Hello?" I asked, trying to make it sound as normal as possible. "(n/n)...we're you crying?" He asked softly from the phone. Nothing could really get by Senju huh? that's why I love him so much. "...you could say..how'd you know?" I asked as I adjusted my sitting position. "You wanna..talk about it..?" He asked again as I heard a bag of chips open from the other line. "Y..yes please.." I hesitantly replied.

"So what happened?"

"My mother scolded me for having an A.."

"Isn't that high enough already though?"

"..she wants me to have an A+..not just a normal A.."

"..I feel like I'm not doing enough, Senju.."

"(n/n). Don't listen to what others say about you..you're perfect just the way you are and I don't want you to change that."

"Senju..thank you for always being with me.."

"You're very smart, (n/n)! Don't let your mom get in the way of your path okay?"

"Okay.."

"If you ever need someone to talk to, I'm here for you okay? That's why I'm your..best..friend.."

"..Senju?"

"No, it's nothing! I'll be here to listen to you rant about your life okay? I'm here for you. always."

He whispered, as he then ended the call.
