Chapter 1 (Chan)

*BREAKING NEWS*

Five bodies have washed up the shore of a popular beach in Seoul, all bodies have been identified to have belonged to the mafia gang called Smiling. District 9 has taken credit for bringing down the gang and have sent a letter to the Seoul police department claiming that there are more bodies to be found. District 9 is run by their ruthless leader only known by his alias Lee Lix. They have  been linked to over 50 murders, but no arrests have been made due to the lack of evidence. But don't be alarmed police are working around the clock to bring justice to these five men.

I turn the Tv off disgusted with the amount of crime that has wreaked havoc in the city of Seoul. I was transferred into Seoul police department to go under cover and join district 9 to get evidence of their criminal acts and bring justice to all the families that they have wronged.

I sat at the table looking through the files that have been gathered on District 9, its more about the suspected crimes that they are suspected of committing than about the members there are only 4 known members of this gang there is no intel at all and blurry photos this is ridiculous. I call my partners Changbin, Jisung and Minho we are all part of the police unit 3Racha. Jisung and Changbin are available to do a sweep of the neighbourhood, but Minho is busy spending time with his brother, family first is our motto here, so I let it slide. After Changbin and Jisung arrive we walk around casing the neighbourhood, pretending to be just going to get coffee at the local café.

"Help" we all jump when we hear someone screaming from an alley as we ran to try and help, but freeze seeing four men with face masks covering half their faces and one man on the ground shaking and crying begging for his life.

"Awwwww sweetie did you really think you could screw me over" the one talking sounded like their leader while the others watched.

"Not of course Mr Lee"

"Then honey why does it look like you tried to run away" I hear a click of a gun and see that he just pointed it at the guy's head.

"don't worry sweetie this will only hurt a bit" he than pulled the trigger shooting the guy in the head while laughing.

"Fox call in a clean-up crew"

"Yes boss"

I realised that this was a dead-end alley and quickly pulled Jisung and Changbin out of there to the coffee shop while we sat there in shock of what we just witnessed.

"Holy shit, do you think those guys were district 9"

"Well, this is their territory so probably, we should go back and get the body for evidence"

We all got up and covertly entered the alleyway acting drunk but when we reached where we witnessed the murder there was nothing there, no evidence the place just looked like a regular alley. We hear footsteps approaching us, we make eye contact and quickly pretend that Jisung was dared to scale the wall of the alley.

"Is everything alright here" shit it was the same deep voice from earlier.

"Yes, everything Is fine my friend here is just completing his dare"

"Oh, really sweety can I watch" I feel a shiver run down my spine and try to get a good look at the guy, but he stayed hidden in the dark.

"I'm taking the consequence man I cant climb that wall" Jisung whined, and the guy just laughed.

"Oh well no fun here so ill be going, be careful not everyone is nice when people are snooping around honey" his tone of voice changed and I knew this was a warning to back off. I went to say something and turned around to find that he was gone.
