"An enemy pilot is attacking your titan." Jeeves said, I glanced through the window and saw a guy shooting at my titan.

"Come on Valkyrie, you're a titan, he's a human, you have the upper hand." I muttered under my breath as I shot at the guy.

"Warning, your titan has sustained high damage, I recommend you eject." Jeeves's voice rings through the small chamber. I sigh and bang my left hand on the eject button. I wait a second, then feel the top open and get ready to go air born. I squeeze my eyes shut just as I fly into the air. I open my eyes and glance around, I see a tree, and move so I'll land by it. As I fall I reach my hand out and grab a branch, swinging myself into the tree. I glance around, not seeing anyone nearby. I reach into my belt and grab my Hammond P2011. I do a quick scan of the area, and spot someone running towards a titan. I bring up my gun, focus in, and pull the trigger. It misses my about an inch.

"Victory, we've won, now don't let them get away," Commander Linda's voice says into my earpiece. I look through my smart glasses and see the image showing where the dropship is. I drop from the tree and run into some bushes, keeping my Hammond P2011 in hand. I crouch over towards the dropship. I stop moving when I hear the sound of footsteps. I get down a bit more and stay perfectly still. I peek through some leaves and see two enemy pilots run by. I let them run by, not wanting to have to fight two enemies at once. I continue my crouching, and just as I see the dropship it starts to fly away. I pull my gun up and shoot a few times at it, I hear the sound of others shooting at it too. Then the ship falls, and explodes.

"We've won, and the dropship didn't manage to escape, good job pilots! We've sent a dropship for you all, you're going home!" Linda's voice rings through my earbud. I stand from the bushes and hear a few cheers from my teammates around me. I glance around and see Sami on the top of a nearby building. I run over to it and grab the ledge of a window, pulling myself into the building. I see a stair case and run up a few flights of stairs until I come to a big double door. I put my gun back in my belt and push the door open. I see Sami standing with his back to the door as he gazes out at the city.

"Sami, can you believe it, we've finally won! We're going home!" I practically yell. He turns around and a smile dances across his face. I run over to him and throw my arms around his neck.

"I can't believe we finally get to go home, but-" He says, and I pull back to look into his eyes.

"But?" I question, searching his eyes.

"But, something feels wrong. We've beat them so many times in battles, and the war has kept going on. Raven we've been at war for 7 years! You and I have only been fighting for three of those years. So what makes this win, different? I just, I feel like it isn't actually over." He replies, at the end breaking eye contact and turning around to stare out across the horizon. I take a step forward and stand next to him, grabbing his hand.

"Yeah, I know how you feel.If the war is still on going, do you think they'll make us come back?" I whisper.

"I don't know." He whispers back.

"Your dropship is here pilots, everybody board, it's time you go home." Linda's voice rings through our ear pieces, breaking our thoughts.

"Well, we better get on board." Sami replies, dropping my hand and turning towards the door.

"Yeah, I guess." I reply, jogging a bit to catch up to him. When I catch up I easily fall into step next to him and we walk silently to the dropship.

I get out of the dropship after Sami. I glance around. It's been years since I've been on Earth. Everything looks so much different then it does on the other planets. I follow Sami into a big gray building. Once inside I glance around. We're in a big open room, with chandeliers from the ceiling. Everything looks very fancy and high class. Everyone is wearing suits and expensive dresses, making us look very out of place. I step next to Sami just as a guy strolls up to us.

"Hello, and welcome home." The man said, bowing. He was wearing a suit and tie, with his hair combed back, and his voice was oddly familiar.

"Jeeves, this is Raven, and this is Sami." Diana said, stepping forward. Diana was the lady on the dropship, she said she would be helping out Sami and I get settled back onto Earth.

"Ah, Raven, an honor to finally meet you, and Sami, I am certainly honored to be in your presence." Jeeves said again, falling into another graceful bow.

"All right, now, Raven, Sami, your rooms are upstairs, room A211 and A212. Here are your keys." Diana says, dropping each of our keys into our hands. "Now, you two can go upstairs and get settled in, you'll be staying here for about a month. Tomorrow we'll get you both fitted for some real clothes and you'll be able to meet the rest of the crew. Oh, and I'll send dinner up for you in about 15 minutes. Now, I must go and finish some arrangements, good luck!" She says before turning and walking away.

"Well, she seems nice." Sami quipped, turning to me after she got out of ear shot.

"Yeah, she really is, she's also really good at her job." Jeeves replied, turning to stare at her, before turning to me. "It really was nice to meet the young pilot I've had the honor of working with." Jeeves replied, bowing again, but this time grabbing my hand and kissing it, causing my face to turn bright red. Just as quick as he bowed, he's up and turned to Sami. "And it was an amazing honor meeting you, you truly are one of the best pilots we have." Jeeves tells Sami, again bowing. "I hope to see you two at breakfast tomorrow, but for now I really must be leaving." He said, before turning and leaving.

"Well, we better get to our rooms." I told Sami, turning to him.

"Yeah, we better." He replied, walking towards the staircase, as I easily fell into step next to him.
