Maddie Ziegler Facts

Her First Years

Maddie Ziegler was born on September 30th, 2002. She was originally namedj Taylor Nicole Ziegler, and was for the first 2 days of her life. Soon after, they changed her name to Madison. Her middle name, Nicole, was because of her cousin Nicole. She lived in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with her parents, Melissa and Kurt Ziegler. Once she turned 2 years old, she started dancing at Abby Lee Dance Company. Around then, was her sister, Mackenzie Ziegler, born. Mackenzie Frances Ziegler started dancing when she was 2, as well. By the time Mackenzie had started dance, Maddie was 4 years old. She wasn't exactly advanced, and now calls her old self "bad." She was though, very determined. show started trying harder and harder with every dance practice and always danced around the house. Maddie then became very enthusiastic about dance. She especially enjoyed tap, and she was the most advanced in that style. She also enjoyed ballet and jazz. The studio owner, Abby Lee Miller, noticed her drive, and started favoring her. She offered her more privates and complimented her a lot. Abby Miller noticed that Maddie had potential, and made sure that she maximized it.
