I hurry down the stairs of our two story american

house. I throw my robe and hat on and walk out of the house a

and into the warm air of spring about to be summer. I hop into

my little red ford fiesta. i hurry down to Jenks High School. I walk

into the gym and i'm glad i'm not late. my parents should be here

in about ten minutes. I get in line in the D section and wait to

be called out. soon i hear,

" Isabella Duncan " i walk out from behind the curtains on the

side of the gym. i walk out and smile big. Finally! i have been

waiting to graduate so i can go back to Cheshire, UK. that's right.

i'm from the UK. I moved here to Oklahoma when i was about 4

years old. i promised my best friend Harry i would come back as

soon as i graduated! i slowly walk back to the chairs in the front

and wait for about 20 minutes. soon all the names are called

and i'm told to stand up..... 1 2 3!! i throw my hat up in

the air trying to hit the ceiling. yes!! i hurry my way over to my

best friend Grace linkon.

" OMG!!!! i'm gonna miss you soo much bella! you have to call

me at least twice a week! and keep me posted about EVERYONE!"

she said with tears but smiling and bouncing like normal grace. She

is a very preppy girl. i was actually suprised that she wasn't having

a big tantrum.

" i promise i will call as soon as i can!!!!" i say to her. i give

her a big hug and head off to my parent's. They had tears in

their eyes too.

" i'm so proud of my little girl! she's graduated! are you sure you

want to go back to Cheshire? you can always just stay here with

us!" she says really fast.

" Mom, I will be okay! i want to go and i'm not changing my

mind! i will call every week!" i say giving her a little hug.

I get back into my car and head home. I really am gonna miss

this place. i mean it's not going to hold me back from going back

to Cheshire but i am really gonna miss my friends and family. Once

i get home i sit in the car for about 5 minutes and go in.
