It late at night, with all of the lights of your room becomes almost pitch black, you know you need to sleep but you can barely even close your eyes.
It's way too warm under the blanket but you feel vulnerable when it's off. The fan is barely doing anything and the ac might as well be broken.
Your imagination goes off on its own making the fuzzy silhouettes of items lounging around your room become twisted monsters. You turn around to face the wall.
Nights are always so hard to get through
Your mind search's for some deep memory from younger you. God those hurt to remember all you can do is try to get your brain off of it but that just makes your mind think of it more.
You are probably the only one remembers these memories, that doesn't help much. The summer heat must be getting to your brain. You are so tired but still can't sleep. Your head hurts, eyes burn, heart full off guilt. You just want the next moring to come already. The only way to speed that up is by sleeping though.
You are so exhausted.
