❝College girl❞ // Bench trio (PAUSED)

𝙏𝙩𝙬𝙤𝙤 - 2

AND I WAS THERE, SITTING IN THE AIRPLANE,, 

      as it took off, I saw everything below me becoming smaller and me going up in the sky. I was scared but the experience was cool, a 7 hour flight until I got to my destiny, a dream come true

I fell asleep for a while, the speakers of the airplane woke me up saying we were about to land, so I got up really excited, a little after, I was in the airport, a cab from the college picked me up and let me in the hotel I was staying in, 8pm was the time when I checked in, just for one night though. I was tired, so I just put on my pajamas, texted my mom that I was already there and went to bed, I fell asleep watching TV. 

I woke up to the natural light, at 7am, jumped out of bed and showered, put on presentable clothes and took my stuff to head to the college I was attending to for the next 11 months. 

"Oh sorry" I bumped into a blond guy as I was entering the building "I'm new here" I laughed nervously 

"It's fine" He smiled "I'm Tommy by the way, and you?" 

"I'm Lana, nice to meet you" I smiled back "Do you know which way to the principal's office?"

"Yes, follow me...Oh, you aren't from around here, are you"

"Oh no, I'm in exchange" I shook my head 

"That's cool" He nodded "follow me"

I followed Tommy around the place for at least 5 minutes, he knocked on the door and announced me, he left for his class and I was there with the principal

"We're thrilled to have you here, Ms West, I'm the head-mistress, Mrs. Millie" She smiled warmly "We're really glad you chose our college to study in"

"Well, I've seen amazing reviews and I knew it was a great choice" I smiled as well "the British culture has always caught my attention"

"that's wonderful, love" She looked for some papers in her desk "Look, you'll receive this lessons today, and when the day's over, come to my office so I can assign you a guardian" 

I nodded and thanked her, then left the room and went to my first class, English, the History, Architecture then had lunch, the day went on amazing, and Mrs. Millie let me leave my bags in her office while I had classes through the day. When it all ended, I came back

"How was your first day, darling?"

"Pretty amazing! The classes are really interesting, unlike my school back in America" I laughed

"I'm happy to hear that" She giggled "Thomas Simons, please come to the principal's office as soon as possible" She said into the speakers mic, after a little time, the blond boy I met in the morning came through the door

"You wanted to see me?" He knocked on the door and came in

"Yes, Tom, you'll take care of Lana while she's abroad"

"Oh really? That's cool, we've met before, haven't we?" He gave me his hand and I shook it

"A pleasure seeing you again" I said 

"You'll take care of her, so please get her to your house safely and behave" Mrs.Millie spoke as Tommy nodded

"Of course, Mrs. Millie" He looked at me "where are your bags, I can help you with those"

"Ah yeah, right there" I picked up a suitcase and he picked up another backpack "Thank you again, Mrs...I'll see you tomorrow" I greeted and Tommy and I left the room

Tommy guided me to a train where I'll go home with him, he was behaving nicely, but like me he was obviously nervous, he told me about living in the UK and where everything in his house was, and he told me about his friends and family, so did I. He apologized for the next days, because he described himself as "loud and annoying" sometimes, I laughed at how he referred, but I was the same when I had confidence with someone so it was fine.

I looked through the train window, it was a beautiful day, even though it was extremely cold, I was wearing a hoodie over my shirt with a korean-style skirt and snickers, checking my phone from once in a while and telling my mom about my day, it wasn't a long ride until we got to Tommy's house

"Hey mom!" He yelled at the same time he stepped inside the house "I'm with the college girl" 

"Uh hello!" I said in a shy tone as his mom came down the stairs

"Oh good afternoon, darling, you must be Lana"

"Yes m'am" I nodded 

"We're glad to receive you here, I got a call from the school earlier saying that you will be staying with us, such a wonder!" I giggled "Oh but come in, don't be shy you're at home" She helped me with some bags I was carrying

"Thank you so much" I smiled "What's your name, by the way?"

"My name is Sarah, but you can call me however you want to"

"Alright Mrs. Simons"  I smiled widely as I took of my hoodie

"Lana, come here, I'll show you your room" Tommy took my stuff upstairs

"Oh ok, excuse me" I stood up and followed him "Your mom is really nice, Tommy" 

"Yeah she is, I'm glad you like her" He smiled "This is the guest room, you'll be staying here" He opened the door letting me see the really nice room they prepared for me

"it's so pretty, thanks!" I entered and put my stuff on the bed

"You can put your clothes on the closet, it's always empty so you can fill it" He took off his jacket and went to his room

"Oh sure!" I started unpacking and putting everything on the closet, I also took another things like my headphones, laptop, books and notebooks on the desk that was there too, I left the empty suitcases in a corner of the room and I laid on the bed just looking at the ceiling to rest for a while
