Chapter 5

Staring at the holy knight who held Meliodas by the sword he simply refused to let go.

"I'm warning you bastard, let it go or the only one losing their hand will be you"

You once again warned, empty threats weren't something you'd often make and this wasn't the time for it.

Him taking the sword isn't what concerned you but him hurting Meliodas is what did, you all could get it back later but getting Meliodas back wasn't possible from what you knew right now.

"Stop! What are you doing to sir Meliodis!"

Elizabeth moved over and tried to stop the knight let go of Meliodas but instead the knight got exactly what he was looking for.

Then just as he was about to celebrate, Meliodas stood up in a flash and gripped the sword tightly, and it seemed like he had no intention on letting it go.

"Boss?''

"Impossible! Nothing could have survived all the poison I gave him!"

The doctor seemed to be in disbelief and distraught, the holy knight was persistent and didn't let go of the sword but neither did Meliodas.

"I see you don't know when to die, but you will let go of this sword!"

"Even if I die, this sword is the one thing I will never give up. Its the only thing I can do, the only way I can atone."

"Spout all the nonsense you wish, the sword, princess and angel dove will all still be mine!"

Just then, you caught a glimpse of his face. The mark on his forehead, the look in his eye and the energy that was flowing around him all seemed so familiar. 

It caused you to freeze up, and then your head started to ache. You had no idea why it did but it hurt for a while before it went away. It was weird.

What happened next happened in seconds, you threw your spear at the knight, and not only did Meliodas's expression make him nervous but now he that your spear constantly attacking him and chipping at his armor.

He then retreated and jumped right out the window, and ran away from the doctors building in a hurry. He was a scarey cat.

"Follow him"

You ordered your spear which followed him right out the window, it would follow him no matter what and duplicate if cut in half.

"I'm sorry but is it really you standing their sir Meliodas?"

There was a moment of silence before Meliodas turned to you two and smiled, the same old smile.

"Of course its me, hey Elizabeth and (Y/N) hey porky"

"Good to see you're back!"

You stayed silent on the otherhand, you were glad to see Meliodas awake but you couldn't get the face you saw him make out of your head, if felt so familiar.
