"I love you so much baby! No matter what you are, I and your baba will always love you. I can't wait for you to get here."
I said to my baby and caressed the place where my baby is. In a few months, I'll have cute little bump which will turn big. I smiled at that thought.
"Hmm, is momma talking to the baby?" Asked my husband as he wrapped his arms around my waist from behind. He caressed the same area I did and kissed my forehead.
"Hey Baby! You're home early today. Is everything alright at the hospital? Wait! Did you lose someone? Do you need cuddles?" I asked one after the other as I turned to face him.
"Baby take it easy! None of that happened. Can't I just come home early to my pregnant wife?" he asked as he kissed the tip of my nose. But something wasn't right about this kiss. The loving and cheerful smile he would have whenever he kisses me was missing.
I looked at him and by that I meant I really looked through him because he didn't seem alright. He's been distant for the past two months.
Sure he was really happy when he found out I was pregnant two weeks ago that he teared up and cried like a baby but then he just went back to his previous self.
"Works been hectic!" was all he said when I had asked him what had happened.
But he better work out whatever it was fast, because I don't want to be worrying about him constantly. I wanna completely enjoy my pregnancy and I want him to enjoy it to.
"Anyways! Let's go downstairs and have tea with the family." He said. We both held hands and walked down together.

"Dadi (Grandma) I didn't come all the way from India to America to marry your grandson, just to name my son Lodi Khan. I mean I know it was Dada's (Grandpa's) name and it sounds good, we can make it a last name or like an initial." I said with a small smile on my face.
"Well, no matter what gender my great-grandchild is, I'll take it that my Lodi is born again. Lodi always wanted to live long enough to hold his great-grandchildren. He would tease me always and say that the both of us are going to live long enough together to hold our great-grandchildren but he left me all alone in this world." Said said as the both of us and my father-in-law teared up.

Lodi Khan was a great man with high principles and morals. He was a great man who took pride in raising his children right. But when his son, Zaafir had eloped with his girlfriend, Leyla on the day he was to be wed to another, Lodi Khan laid on the hospital bed as he suffered a heart attack.
