8- "Promise"

7:17 a.m, January 2nd, Bakugou Residence.

A bird's singing could be heared around Katsuki's room.
Katsuki groaned and burried his face on a soft and familiar fluff.

Donguri sneaked through his owners' sheets at night and was curled up above Katsuki's spiky but fluffy hair.

Soft breathing came from the greenette, making Katsuki relax. Of course, only his boyfriend was able to make him like this, Katsuki couldn't help but let his soft side overpower his usual angry self around Izuku.

There was a soft knock on the door, Katsuki sleepily pushed his head up and with his morning voice answered.

- "Come *yawn* in..."

The door slowly swung open revealing the two boy's parents.

Hisashi and Inko Midoriya, with Masaru and Mitsuki Bakugou.

Inko stared worryingly and sadly at the two boys. Mitsuki also did, but she was a little harder to tell, clearing her throat  she said...

- "Good morning... Katsuki... We need to talk..."

Katsuki raised an eyebrow and was about to shake Izuku to wake him up, being interrupted by his uncle.

- "Only you, bud."

Hisashi said on a calm but serious voice, wich he only used when something was really important.

Katsuki frowned but nodded. What could be so important?
Katsuki slowly and carefully got out of bed without waking up Izuku.

He stretched a little bit as he walked towards the adults, who made their way to the living room.

Hisashi and Masaru stood beside Inko and Mitsuki, who took a sit on the large couch. Katsuki stood in front of them with Kumo behind him.

Masaru cleared his throat and started to talk.

- "Son, we know you and Izuku are together... But there's something important...."

Katsuki frowned, slightly worried. Would they tell him to break up with Izuku?
No, that couldn't be possible...

- "Bud, we want you to help us convince Izuku..."

The blonde's eyebrow raised.

- "Huh? Convince him... for?"

- "He's been invited by Principal Allen to... America's Heroe High... With his recommendation..."

His eyes widened, Katsuki opened his mouth but nothing came out. He was beyond happy for Izuku... But he instantly knew what worried the adults.

- "I'm so sorry Katsuki... It's a great opportunity... and he's always wanted to be a hero..! We know he would reject the offer if we asked him... But we want to know what would he say if you tried to convice him. If he still refuses to go, we won't force him-"

- "I'll do it."

Now the adults' eyes widened. Katsuki gulped and ruffled his hair.

- "I won't fucking let him loose this opportunity... America's Heros High is one of the best heroe training schools. U.A comes after it on the rankings, I will convince him!"

The Midoriya's thanked him and his parents where proud, everyone still worried on the outcome... What would happen to the two boys' relationship?

It was now dinner time, the day had gone normal beside the morning talk.

Inko and Hisashi decided to tell Izuku the news. Izuku was shocked, but also... sad...

Katsuki instantly knew what to do.
