Training Part 1

Maki POV

Nobara and I were chosen as training partners, and Panda kept winking at me, what.the.fuck. We both changed into our training outfits, and started sparing.

Nobara: You're pretty good you know!

Me: Yeah sure.

Nobara: You don't talk much, what's up?

Me: Hm? Nothing. Why'd you ask?

Nobara: You're normally ranting about something to yourself whenever we're training.

My face blushed in embarrassment. What the hell! She actually heard me?! I just hope she didn't hear what I'm fucking saying though.

Nobara: Earth to Maki-san.

Me: Drop the -San, I'm just a year older.

Nobara: I'm going to be respectful!

Me: So stubborn.

Nobara: And you're the one talking.

Me: We should continue.

Nobara: Alright!

Nobara POV

We continued training but she kept quiet and kept loosing focus and turning her head to the direction of her phone, I was getting more worried as time passed on but I didn't ask.

Maki: Let's call it a day.

Me: Oh alright..but wait!

Maki: Hm?

Me: Tell me if any thing's wrong!

She smiled at me, but turned to continue walking.

Maki: Sure, Kugisaki.

With that she left, she looked kind of worried, I'll pass by her dorm later cause I need help with this stupid math Homework!

Maki POV 5 hours later

Me: Is Mai alright?

Nurse: She's stabilising but she can't take visitors I'm sorry, she's a friend of yours?

Me: She's my younger sister.

Nurse: Oh..but she'll be fine!

I hung up, Mai ended up getting herself injured and was admitted into the hospital, the stupid fuckin' clan didn't tell me till 2 days after, what assholes.

I heard a faint knock on my door, and I go to open it, and I see her, Nobara.

Me: Hey, what's up?

Nobara: I'm sorry for eavesdropping...but..

Me: You heard?

She nodded but was looking at my feet.

Me: It's fine, what do you need?

Nobara: I was wondering if you could help me with something but it looks like you have your hands b-

Me: Let me see it.

I took what she was holding from her hand and saw the math homework, we did this last year, so it's fresh in my mind.

Nobara: Sorry for the disturban-

I pulled her into my room and closed the door, she was blushing, or just had a cold.

Nobara POV

She pulled me into her room and my face turned red, like really red! She looked at me confused but sighed and signaled me to sit on the second chair next to table, which I did.

Maki: You marked the one's you didn't understand?

Me: Yup!

She scanned the paper, and saw what I did, corrected me, and then she ended up helping me with it and it was pretty simple! It wasn't hard since she was explaining it to me, it was easy in fact.

Her phone started to ring, she excused herself and picked it up.

Maki POV

I walked to pick up my phone, and it was the nurse of earlier.

Me: Yes?

Nurse: Mai is awake and she's asking to see you..
