Chapter 2

Perspective.Every persons existence has a different perspective of a monster.Maybe someone think of a monster and thinks of a giants with blazer sharp teeth and hooks as hands.Maybe it's a sea monster, something that could eat a human in one gulp.Perhaps it's something that wouldn't exist in this universe with inhuman features such as a tail and a green body.So tell me what is your perspective of a monster? When I think of a monster all that seems to come to my mind is, well me.

We both slam the car door at the same time and walk towards the entrance of our works.

We both go to pull on the handle at the same time, he snatches his hand away and huffs.

I'm done with him i swear to god.

"CHRIS"

Innocently he looks up at me.

"Look I'm sorry for going off on you like that in the car but you really had no right to judge me off seeing that tiny interaction, so please can we forget about this and get on with our day, work is already hard enough as it is."

"Okay you're right I'm sorry."

"I'm sorry too."

He shoots his head up at me and begins to smirk.

"Chris oh my god I will take that back faster then I can put a bullet in your head."

"Woahhhhh what happened to having a nice day." He surrenders with a nervous look.

I raise my eyebrows at him and pull the door open ready to cause some chaos if necessary.Or not necessary eithers fine I guess.

"Rue, Chris, I have work follow me"

"Good afternoon to you too baldy, having a nice day cupcake?"

"I will be once your out my face." He throws a smug look towards me.

"Sit down"

"I'm sitting down because I want to sit down not because you just told me to."

He huffs.

"Soooo whatcha got for us."

"I need you both to steal something for me, it's extremely important, if possible I don't want anyone to see either of you, I want no one involved and absolutely no killings."

I pout " aweee but where's the fun in that?"

"Rue I am dead serious this to me, you get caught and your out of here."

"Okay jeeze what is it then we need details or we can't do shit."

"I'm getting to that if you would stop interrupting me."

"We're having a conversation."

Chris kicks my leg under the table.

I shrug my shoulders.

"So as I said this is extremely important, I need you both for this it's teamwork, there's also gonna be another two members from the other gang, I know that's risky but we need them and they need us, they're trustworthy you know I wouldn't do this if I wasn't sure on this.So you'll be stealing from the art gallery in Kensington and-"

"Kensington? Your kidding me, these new partners best not be ammatures if I get locked up your bailing me out."

"You won't get caught because your a trained spy and so are they, don't interrupt me again."

"It's a conversaaationnn" I say in a sing song voice.

He throws me a stern look so I slouch down in my seat, bored of his shit.

"As I was saying, it's the art gallery, there's a painting in there, it's extremely wanted however for very different reasons so it will most probably be locked up, you need to find the key first.When you open the glass box it will be stored in you also need to open the painting, this isn't an ordinary painting, inside it there should be 50 pieces of gold each worth 100 hundred million pounds, onc-"

"YOUR JOKING ME" I lean forward with a tight grip on the arms of my chair making me knuckles go white.

"SHHHHH RUE" He whisper shouts and looks around to make sure no ones listening in.

I look to Chris and he's holding on to his seat for dear life with wide eyes.

"Listen to me, this painting is extremely wanted, very little people know about the gold they just think it's a famous painting that would be worth a lot of money however no we're near the amount that's actually in it. You will all be giving bags to stack the gold inside I need you to take 25 blocks and leave the other 25 for your partners.Since we're working together we will get 2.5 billion and they will too."

"Okay okay so this is really serious, the gallery is gonna be extremely guarded if they're hiding that amount of gold in there how the fuck are me and dumbo here meant to get inside for a start."

"Heyyy."

I throw Chris an apologetic look.

"One of your partners you'll be working with are an expert with computers they need to turn off all the security cameras first.The guards will be at the front of the gallery only, therefore, you have the back and the side to get in, I would recommend going to the second floor on the left side of the building, your closest to the room it's in that way, there's a window you can climb through."

"Okay got it my life is in the hands of this dude I don't even know from a different gang who could easily turn his back on us both."

"Correct. From there you need to find the key, from what I've researched, the key is hidden in the wall next to the painting, look for the hollow part and it will be in there, when you open the glass case aswell as the painting and have taken the gold, you need to lock everything up so it looks like nothing has been taken."

"We'll surely there would be an alarm when I open it though right?"

"Your partner will also be in charge of that, he can turn all the alarms off."

"Great."

"I've told you what to do, I need you to be extremely careful I don't want any major weapons, you can take knives as they make no sound, a pistol if your really that much of a pussy."

I cringe at the word "really? Go do it yourself then with no weapons let's see how that one goes."

"Well I have you for that dont I sweetheart?"

I will throw up on you.

"Okay so no weapons, barely no plan and relying on someone I don't know from a different gang got it."

"Great, sorted be ready for 11:30, all staff will be out the gallery by 11pm then we can all make our way there." He slaps his knees and goes to walks out the office.

"Oh and before I go you'll need to know what the painting looks like, I'm sure you'll know it, it's the dorado, good luck." He physically dances out of the office leaving me and Chris stunned, staring at each other blankly.
