Birthday Oneshots!

I'll always be here- YakuNoya

So this idea just came to me and I hope you all enjoy! This is Yaku's B-Day! I normally right Angst and Fluff is the opposite of it so let's see how I do!

It was a normal day.
Or at least that's what many thought but today was the Nekoma's Libro's Birthday. He was turning 18! Of course he knew that many people wouldn't care. After all, he was an average guy who was short and was only known at his school.
What should I do today?
Was his first thought. Of course, he hadn't mentioned his birthday except to a select few which included his team and his boyfriend, but with no texts from anyone, he figured they had forgotten until he had received a strange text from Kuroo.
I am where you'd least expect, but I'm where you are always at.
That was strange, even for the rooster. Where was Kuroo? And why the hell was he speaking in riddles?
Huh?
He texted back but just got the same text. He thought this was a joke. He sighed as he got ready for his day. It was Sunday so he didn't have school...
"Kuroo's At School.."
Yaku sighed. He shook his head as he slipped on his shoes and hurried out the door.
It took him a good 10 minutes to get to the school and he saw the gym doors slightly opened with a crow sticker on the left door. Crow? He didn't read too much into it as he opened the doors all the way to find Kuroo with a balloon sitting on the bleachers. Kuroo looked up at him and smirked.
"The Birthday Boy finally decided to come"
Kuroo laughed.
"What's with the riddle? And why are you at school?"
Yaku asked. His mind was filled with questions.
" Your boyfriend. That's all I'm allowed to say"
Kuroo explained vaugely before standing up and walking towards the male. He handed a card towards Yaku and sighed.
"Mine was easy, the next ones are going to be hard. I didn't understand them, he said that you would"
Kuroo said with a smile. Yaku nodded before opening the card to see a small letter in Nishinoya's handwriting
Dear Yaku-San,
Even though you are older than me, I decided that your birthday, you should go on a little scavenger hunt and remember all the memories we had of the past year. Once you reach the end, you'll find me at your final present. The others don't know all about our life so they won't know why I'm sending you all to these places. But I know you would get it. The school. Our first Practice Match. The day I set my eyes on you and was determined to make you mine. Now here's your next clue,
I'm where you go to relax but I'm where you can't speak
Hurry along, Don't keep me waiting for long~

'Nishinoya did set this'
Yaku thought. He sighed before thinking of the riddle. They didn't rhyme but It was Nishinoya. And it was his boyfriend but he didn't eat so he was starting to get hungry.

"Somewhere I go to relax, but can't speak?"
It took Yaku a few minutes to realized where it was. He smiled at Kuroo and thanked him.
"Where are you going?"
Kuroo asked and Yaku laughed.
"The Library! Thank you again!"
Kuroo looked satisfied as he watched Yaku rush off. He texted Kenma saying that he was free now.

Yaku reached the Library in Tokyo a little after noon. Who he saw was not who he expected. It was Hinata and the Karasuno's Pinch Server.
"Yaku-San!"
They both bowed.
He flinched. Nobody seemed to stop them from yelling. He was confused until Yamaguchi handed him a letter.
"Noya-San told us to give this to you!"
Hinata said with a smile. He handed Yaku a small ticket. It said Reservation.
He opened the letter Yamaguchi had handed him.
Baby,
You have only just begun but you wouldn't want to be late to where we had our first date. I won't be there but what you'd find will be a much bigger surprise~ have fun. The clock is ticking.

Yaku looked at Hinata and Yamaguchi before smiling.
"You wouldn't know what Nishinoya has planned do you?"
Yaku asked, only receiving a head shake from the two.
"Noya said no questions so we didn't ask"
Hinata said a sigh.
"Better get going. You'll leave the others waiting"
Yamaguchi said with a small smirk. Yaku nodded and for a split second he knew that the two weren't telling the full truth.
He said thank you and ran off.

His first date with Noya? It was one of the best ramen places he had ever been to. He hadn't known that Noya wanted to take him there and he regretted nothing. The place was clean and the employees were fun which is why he was confused to see Kenma and Lev in Uniforms for the shop when he got in. They hadn't been there last time.
"Kenma? Lev?"
He asked, only to receive a smile from Lev.
"Hello Yaku-Senpai, I assume you got your reservation ticket?"
Lev asked, holding out a hand. Yaku nodded slightly as he handed Lev the ticket.
"Noya was here earlier and preordered for you"
Kenma said with a quiet voice.
"Oh?"
Another surprise? Noya had thought of everything. He had no complaints because he was hungry.
"Follow me, Sir"
Lev said with a nod as he led Yaku to a table. The two of them left and a few minutes later, a waiter came with his bowl. At first he didn't recognize them but then flinched when he did.
"Akaashi?"
He asked with a slight nod.
"Yaku-San, please do read the little sticky note"
Akaashi said before leaving. That confused him. There was no sticky note. He sighed and slowly ate. When he grabbed his napkin when he was done, he saw the note. Smart move. He picked up the note and saw only a clue.
Almost done! Good job! Now it's time to actually get ready! Hope you have clothes you can get wet! Because you are needed at the place I won your heart! Or at least others along with it! And remember, don't quit when you think you can't do it

"I love you too Yu... But why the swimming pool?"
He took a deep breath as he stood up. He saw the three watching him but he simply smiled and walked out. Only once he was outside, did he run home. He quickly got changed into his trunks and a shirt. He sighed before leaving and receiving a text from Noya.
"Baby, so close to receiving your final present~"
He read before smiling. He couldn't get mad at Noya. Not in a million years. He smiled as he went to to the swimming pool that was actually pretty close to where he lived. When he got there, he noticed a few more people. Three Setters, shirtless and in trunks.
"Yaku, nice of you to join us!"
Sugawara said with a smile.
"Mhm! So glad you could make it!"
Oikawa exclaimed.
"Now, there's one thing Noya-San told us to do"
Kageyama said before nodding to the other two. The other two walked over to Yaku, looping their arms with his. The led him towards the pool. Yaku wasn't strong enough to fight them off as they were at the edge.
"Hold your breath"
Suga whispered as he picked Yaku up and threw him into the pool. Yaku only had a few seconds before to hold his breath. The second his back hit the cold water, he gasped, sucking in some of the water. He took a minute to adjust. He didn't have much breath but he opened his eyes, he saw a little ball. He swam over to it and saw a small rose in it. He grabbed it, kicked off from the bottom and swam to the surface. The second his head was out of the water, he was coughing. He swam towards the edge of the pool. He held onto the edge right beneath the setters as he saw that inside the ball, wrapped around the stem of the rose. Oikawa and Kageyama helped the libro out of the pool. Sugawara patter his back as he let small coughs out.
"I wasn't expecting that.."
He said before opening the ball and retrieving the rose and note.
Awww.. All wet now are we? Hope you had a good swim! Now... Listen carefully... ok this one is very important. Think. What do all those places I sent you to have in common. When you figure it out, come and find me

Now this was tricky. Gym, Library, Restaurant, and Pool. What did they have in common..?
"Yaku-San. Maybe this'll help.."
Oikawa whispered as he held out a small crow sticker. Then it clicked. He seen the same sticker on the gym door! They were all parts of school! Restaurant for eating... Gym for Volleyball... Pool, but Karasuno didn't have a pool? He sighed. He knew that He was at Karasuno. Somewhere inside the school.
He smiled as he turned and faced Bokuto.
"HEY HEY HEY!"
Bokuto called. He had Kuroo with him.
"Hey Bokuto"
He was greeted with a few nods.
"So Anyone need a ride? Noya sent me"
Yaku nodded. The words "and get all the help you can on the way" rung in his ears
"To Karasuno. Noya is waiting for me"
Yaku explained as Kuroo threw him a towel. He caught it and dried off slightly as all of them got into Bokuto's Pickup truck(Tell me he wouldn't have one-)
It took 10 minutes before they got to the school. Everyone stayed in the car but Yaku.
"We can't go any further, but a tangerine might be able to help you in there. Remember that"
Kageyama said and Yaku nodded. He walked into the school. This is his first time in the school itself. He frowned. Where was Noya? How the hell would he find anything-
His thoughts were interrupted by a tap to the shoulder.
"Yaku- San! So glad you figured it all out! Need help?"
A voice said from behind him. He turned and saw Hinata. He was glad to see a familiar face. He simply nodded.
"Well... Your outfit won't do. You need to be in school uniform for a tour. Follow me"
Yaku couldn't argue as he was led to a bathroom. He was pushed in and the door closed. In the bathroom was a sink and a pair of clothes. A Karasuno school uniform. He assumed it was Noya's since the two were about the same size.
He got changed easily as he sighed. He opened the door and saw Hinata waiting for him. He was on his phone with a smile on his face
" I'm done"
Yaku said with a smile. Hinata looked up and sighed as he nodded. He put his phone away as he grabbed Yaku's wrist.
"Anything you are looking for exactly?"
Hinata asked as he heard a vibrate.
"Noya"
Yaku said with a smile.
"Alright! Hmm.. I don't know where he is exactly but he might be in one of his usual spots! Let's try his homeroom!"
Hinata said as he took out his phone but simply sighed.
"Let's go!"
They raced around. After they went to the homeroom, they only found Tanaka with a smirk. After that, they raced around the school but each time, Hinata kept checking his phone. It was starting to irritate him. Yaku pulled away from the two.
"We've been everywhere! If you aren't going to actually show me where my boyfriend is, I'll go find him myself!"
Yaku had snapped
"SO Go!"
Yaku rushed off before checking for his phone but it wasn't there. He started to panic. First, he was lost in a random school, Second, He just wanted Noya, and lastly, he had no way to tell anyone.. He was still slightly wet and very tired. This was turning out to be the worst birthday he had ever had. He kept wondering around. He just could even find the exit. He was so close to breaking down.

"WHERE'S YAKU?!"
Noya yelled at the two. He had been setting up a surprise birthday.
"We don't know. We might've made him extremely uncomfortable without knowing.."
Hinata sighed. Noya was pissed as he walked away from them.
"Finish setting up. I'm going to go find my boyfriend"
He went to call him but no answer. He was panicking. He looked around until he heard sniffling. He ran towards the sniffling to find Yaku who was curled up in a corner, crying. He sat beside the male.
"Morisuke..."
Noya started only to be interrupted by Yaku. He was hugged tightly. Noya hugged back.
"Where were you?? I been running around all day... Nobody was telling anything...Not even a happy birthday to me.."
Yaku was interrupted by Noya who pulled back and made the older male look at him.
"Yaku-san... If you were uncomfortable, why didn't you just say so?"
Yaku simply shrugged, looking away
"Look at me, Mori"
Noya said with a small smile. Yaku listened and looked up at his boyfriend.
"I'll always be here. So if you were uncomfortable, you can always tell me. You know that right?"
Yaku nodded. Noya smiled as he kissed Yaku's cheek.
"You missed"
Yaku said and before Noya could question anything, Yaku's lips made contact with his. After a few seconds the kiss ended and Noya pushed back.
"I have one more surprise. This one you'll like. Ok?"
Yaku nodded as Noya helped him up. The two walked towards the gym. Noya had his hands in front of Yaku's eyes as he led them to the gym. After a few minutes they made it. Noya pulled his hands away as people yelled "Surprise!" There were 4 teams all together celebrating his birthday! Seijoh, Karasuno, Fukuradoni, and Nekoma! Technically a few people from each team except his own and Karasuno.
"We're sorry, Yaku-San"
Tanaka and Hinata said in unison. He forgave them. He was happy. This was where he belonged. Maybe this really wasn't the worse the birthday. Not the best but definitely not the worst.
