My Darling

Chapter 1

Trigger Warnings: abuse, verbal abuse, yelling

Y/N panted as she moved, sweat dripping down her forehead, wanting to whine, but she chose not to, she doesn't want to get punished again.

"You missed a spot." Y/N's sister whispered to her. Y/N rolled her eyes, "The only spot I'll be missing is your blood when I murder you." Y/N muttered, Y/N's sister (Bella) gasped dramatically, and punched her. Y/N fell to the floor from the strength of the punch.

Y/N got up and stared down her sister. "Bitch." Y/N said, "Well, maybe you should watch your mouth you useless bitch." Bella said. Y/N ran to her room, not bothering to finish her chore. She slammed her door and slid down it, pulling at the roots of her hair. She just has to get out of there.

So, she grabbed her phone, tied a hoodie around her waist, a flashlight, a pocket knife, a portable charger, shoes, and water. She opened her window and crawled out of it. She shut her window from the outside. She started walking around her neighborhood trying to remember the way out.

She found a forest. She started walking through the forest, the soft crunches of leaves beneath her. She found a small spot to sit, and she went on her phone. She heard a twig snap in the distance, her head snapped up from her phone. She grabbed her knife and got in a defensive stance. She saw a figure in the distance, inching closer. She got ready to stab the person, when the person grabbed her wrist.

She internally panicked. "Careful darling." a man said. As he stepped closer into the moonlight, she could see his features. His chocolate brown eyes, his beautiful skin complexion and jawline. "Now what are you doing out here darling?" he asked you, "I uhm, going hiking." she lies, he eyes her stuff lightly, "With such little stuff?" he asks, "Oh, I, it's a shorter hike." she lies again. "Oh where are my manners, I'm Danny." he introduces, "Y/N." she said, holding out her hand, Danny shook her hand.

"Now darling, would you like to tell me what you're really doing out here?" Danny asks in a lower voice.

Her mind was racing with questions. "I-" she stuttered, "I am running away from home." she finally admits, her head hanging low. His phone starts ringing as he was about to say something, he fished it out from his pocket. "Whatcha' need Arny?" he asks, "No, yeah, I'll be home in 15." he says and hangs up. "C'mon darling." he says holding out his hand. She looks up at him, "What?" she asks, "I'm taking you home with me." he tells her.

She shakes her head, "By the sound of it you have roomates I couldn't impose on you guys like that-" by then Danny had grabbed her stuff and her hand, practically dragging her with him out of the forest. She didn't resist, she was too tired to. They walked together in silence back to Danny's home. As you guys approach a house, a door opens and out comes running 2 people. A very tall person, and a shorter one, just a bit taller than her.

They tackle Danny into a hug, Y/N standing off towards the side. After his friends, who she learns to be Brandon and Arny, let Danny go, he turns towards you. "Brandon, Arny, this is Y/N, she is going to be living with us for a bit, just until she can get back on her feet." Danny says, slinging an arm around her shoulders. Arny and Brandon smiled genuinely at her. "Pleased to meet you, I'm Arny." the short curly-haired one introduces, "I'm Brandon, glad to get to know you," the tall one with dark hair says.

"I'm Y/N." She introduces herself. "Let's get inside." Arny says, they all nod in agreement and walk inside.

She stares in amazement at his house. "Let me show you to your room, darling." he says, she stared at the beautiful decorations of the living room, when she ran into Danny, literally. She fell on her ass, "Oh shit- I'm sorry. I didn't know I was still walking-" she says before stopping abruptly at Danny laughing at her. "I'm sorry... That was just so funny." he says, he offers her a hand up. She takes it and stands up.

Danny calms himself and continues walking to her room. He stopped in front of a doorway. "This is your room." He says, he hands her, her bag and she heads inside the room. She admires the room with *colored* walls and *colored/patterned* bed sheets and blankets, with matching pillows.

A desk and chair in a corner. She put the stuff she brough with her away. She realized she didn't have any clothes she brough with her. She face palms. She walks out of her room and walks to the living room where Danny is sitting on the couch- upside down?

Seeing Danny upside down confused her, she cleared her throat, Danny's head snapped towards her, he fell awkwardly on his neck. Being startled by Y/N. She chuckled awkwardly, feeling bad she scared him, but it was kind of funny. Danny sat up and groaned, rubbing his neck. "Don't- rub your neck, ice it and massage it." she tells him.

"Thank you, also OW." He says, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare you," she apologizes, "It's fine." Arny and Brandon come running from their rooms. "We heard a thump, what happened?" Arny asks, out of breath.

Y/N and Danny made eye contact. "Danny was hanging upside down on the couch and I scared him and he fell on his neck." she explained, not breaking eye contact with Danny.

Brandon fake gags, "Stop undressing each other with your eyes and get a room." he remarks sarcastically. She gently shoves him playfully.

He glares at her, "Don't play with fire, Y/N." he warns in a jokingly calm voice. She surrenders and walks back to her room, too embarrassed to ask since the others were there. She sat on her bed and grabbed her phone. She watched YouTube videos before eventually falling asleep.

Danny POV:

"Dinner is ready!" Arny says as he plates the food, "I'm going to go get Y/N." I say, they nod and I walk to her room. I softly knock on her door, I don't hear an answer, I slowly open her door, "Y/N?" I whisper-yell, covering my eyes in case she's changing or something.

I see her asleep on her bed, with her phone still on. I turn it off and plug it in for her. I smile at her and walk back out of her room. "Y/N is asleep, so just put her food in the microwave." I tell Arny, he nods and puts her plate in the microwave. We all sit down to eat after we finish I out our plates in the sink.

"I'm going to go to sleep, it's late. Goodnight guys." I say as I walk to my room. I change into Pajama pants and leave my shirt off. I can hear Army and Brandon go to their rooms. I drift off into a peaceful slumber.
