The Broken Friend (Nomu Deku)

The Deal

"So this is the League of Villains huh? Doesn't seem like much, especially when you decide to have meetings in such filth." 

My animal senses were telling me to get away from this guy, but I couldn't move anywhere with Master Tomura holding my leash. The man spoke with a smooth and confident voice which mad him even scarier. Master Tomura spoke out after saying something about a deal but I didn't catch what he said. I was too focused on trying to not get noticed by this man, but in the end my efforts were in vain. "And even you let kids into your little group. How desperate are you?"

"This isn't a member, it's my pet, the pet that will take down All Might." Master Tomura said.

"So this kid will take down the Symbol of Peace, how?"

"He follows my every command and the commands of those I tell him to follow and has multiple quirks including one that won't let him die, no matter how damaged his body is." That seemed to make this man happy as I could see a smirk behind his mask while Master continued, "We need to take down the false symbol of peace that has people believing everything will be alright. Then chaos can ensue and Japan will be ours."

"But All Might has already retired" The man said sounding slightly annoyed.

"Ah, but the world still looks to him as an example and the new no.1 endeavor to keep them safe and happy. This must and can end, with my pet" Master Tomura sounded like he had pride in explaining his plan. He wanted to show off what he could do. "Plus, my pet used to be All Might's personal student. He will be too upset to even fight it when the time comes!"

"Well then," The man had a smirk behind his mask I could hear in his voice. "I have a suggestion that will benefit us both."

"And what do you propose, Overhaul?" So Overhaul is his name? I don't like where this is going.

"Lend me your pet and I'll make it stronger for you. you'll also have the Shie Hassaikai's support for any of your future plans." Wait what? Does that mean he wants to take me from Master? Master won't let him right? I don't want to go with this man. Master said his name was Overhaul, does that have something to do with his quirk, I don't know it but he seems worse than Master. Please don't make me go Master. 

"I think, I think that's a brilliant plan, here's his leash and remote for the collar." Master said as he handed Overhaul my leash. "You're going to follow his orders aren't you, De-ku" No, NO NO, NO NO NO NO. Please Master, please keep me. Don't throw me away like my old friends did. Please he's scary, PLEASE. I was pulled out of my internal begging by a jolt around my neck. "Well Deku, will you?" 

"Y-yes Master Tomura" I replied. I would rather be with Master than Overhaul, but that's not going to happen. It's that saying right? Better the devil you know than the one you don't. Unfortunately I'm getting the devil I don't and he's setting off every warning sensor in my body by I can't show it. 

"Sounds like a deal Tomura Shigaraki. And you said he follows any command?" Overhaul asked. "Yes and he doesn't talk unless you specifically speak to him." 

"And how does he know your talking to him?"

"You call him Deku and he'll respond. He'll still follow your orders if you give him a command  but he'll talk as well." Master Tomura said as if he were selling a new car.

"Sounds like exactly what I need. Pleasure working with you League of Villains, now, let's get going, Deku."
