Today was the day Queen Puffy and her children came to visit for the next few days. Puffy was bringing her youngest daughter, Minx, her middle son, Foolish, and of course her eldest and heir to the throne, Dream.
And boy oh boy was George dreading it.
Of course he was excited for his mother to finally see Puffy again, but that meant he actually had to spend time with her children. Dream wasn't that bad, it was Foolish and Minx that got to him.
A soft knock came from the other side of his bedroom door, the door opening shortly after. Standing there was his personal maid, Niki. She spoke in her soft and kind voice, "Prince George, your mother requested that you wear this suit." She said, holding up a navy blue suit with a black tie.
George groaned, but grabbed the suit from Niki, thanking her, before she left his room, closing his mahogany door behind her.
George had made it very clear that as a child, teenager and adult, he was in no need of help to get dressed into his formal attire, he was quite capable of dressing himself.

George made his way to the front of the castle, Wilbur and Tommy trailing close behind him. "For protection reasons." Wilbur had explained. George rolled his eyes at the obvious lie, but let the two men follow in behind him.
"George!" He heard his name being called at an unreasonablly loud tone, wincing as the voices echoed off the tall walls with various paintings of his ancestors and descendants. He sighed as Puffy and her children came into view.
Minx was standing there, her brooding look terrifying as ever. She wore a knee length black dress with a tight corset wrapping around her middle, promoting her curves, she paired her dress with blood red boots that added an unnecessary inch to her hight, so she stood at around 5'10.
Foolish stood beside Minx, wearing his simple white, v-neck tee shirt paired with a baby yellow cardigan over top and light blue jeans. He was dressed simply but stylishly.
And there stood Dream, in all his glory wearing black cargo pants with plenty of pockets, black military boots, and a forest green hoodie.
His whole outfit was topped off with his small hooped earring and his simple tongue piercing that wasn't noticable unless you really looked for it.
George could tell he didn't want to be here as much as George didn't want him to be here.
George automatically felt overdressed in his suit. Even though it was soft, he still felt like his mother went all out. He considered running back into his room to change, but decided against it in the end.
"Oh George, you've grown so much since I last saw you!" The tiny woman practically screamed, running over in her platform heels to embrace George in a rib crushing hug.
George heard a sigh followed by a voice, "Mom, let him go." He heard Dream say, she let go shortly after.
George sent a silent thanks to Dream.
"Well it looks like we have lots of catching up to do!" George's mother exclaimed, clapping her hands together as she started towards the throne room, her heels clacking against the cold stone floor.
George sighed. This was going to be a long week.
