Once AGAIN

Jiyong's POV

 

Today is weird. I feel so tensed and nervous. It is just so unusual.

“Sir, are you alright? You seem so tensed.” My secretary suddenly said.

Kim Eu Jin has been with me for the past two years. I hired her upon getting impressed with her resume. She is hardworking, plus hindi pa ako nakakarinig ng reklamo sakanya . she hadn’t made a flaw. She even works overtime for me and does everything detailed and almost perfect. I really like her working attitude. But it ends there. She knows I am married.

"Di ko alam , Parang may panget na mangyayare ngayon."Sagot ko.

"Sir , Ready na po yung kotse nyo sa baba."Sabi ni Eu Jin.

“I will be there. Eu Jin, I'd like you to have a background check on the employees. Kindly check their credentials and working experiences specifically. Please report that to me.”Sabi ko.

"Okay lang po ba kung bukas ko mare-report yun ?"Tanong nya.

"Nope."I said.

I was warmly welcomed by the staff when I entered the building. They really anticipated my coming.

When I came to the Director’s office, I was greeted by some of the employees.

“Good afternoon President Kwon. We are glad to have to meet you.” Director Choi smiled.

“Good afternoon too Director Choi. I personally came here to present this gift for being accommodating with my staff.” I handed him the wine my company from the States processes.

“Thank you President, is there anything I can do for you?” He sounded confused.

“Yes, let’s talk.”

“This way President.” He led me to his meeting room.

“As you can see Director, I am not new to business despite being so young. However, running an airline company might pose a challenge to me. I know that you have been in this company for half of your life. You see, I might be staying here in Seoul for only a short time and go back to America. So I would like you to help me pick someone I can trust regarding this matter Director. I know you know the employees here very well.”

“President, I can do the honors for you.”

“Director Choi, I do not want to embarrass you but you don’t fit in the criteria I have set. That is why I am talking to you right now. Just do the honors of looking for someone I can rely this company on. I need a very competitive worker and I think I’m making myself clear.” I sounded firm.

Director Choi was sweating and answered me stammering. “I u-understand President.”

“Good. I’ll proceed to the activity center then.”

Glancing at my watch, I’m five minutes early. I always make it a habit to start things early. I hated being late.

Now here I go again, my heart is beating fast suddenly. I feel tensed again. Not now. I need to look very impressive.

When the main door was open, I was welcomed by my new employees. All were staring at me. Nobody dared to talk. But someone caught my attention. She was sweating as hell. The black hair, the eyes, the chin, the lips and the nose. Exactly the replica of my wife! Am I just dreaming? Because if I am, please don’t wake me up!

“Let us all welcome, the new President, Chairman of the Board and owner of K-line Company, Sir. Kwon Jiyong!”
