chapter 18

izuku sighed, sitting down in his chair once more.

his class was in a different room than bakugous, so at lunch and random times in between classes they got to see each other.

the bell finally rang, making izuku perk up. he started packing his bag, while a certain girl came up to him.

"oh, hey hana." he greeted, still packing his things.

she smiled sweetly, "hey mido-chan! i make some cookies last night so i wanted you to try some of them..? if thats ok?"

izuku smiled slightly, "yeah sure!" he agreed, wanting a cookie to give to bakugou.

hana pulled out a bag of cookies and handed it to izuku, "anyways, i was wondering if you wanted to sit with me at lunch?" she smiled and tilted her head in questioning.

"sorry hana, but im sitting with katsuki." izuku politely declined.

"oh.. ok! ill see you later then!" she exclaimed, skipping off.

izuku sighed and got up, walking over to the lunch room. he scanned the lunch room until his eyes landed on the scowling face of bakugou , who was arguing about something with kaminari.

izuku smiled at the sight and walked over, sitting down next to bakugou.

bakugou looked over and his scowled went away as he saw izuku. but then he narrowed his eyes at izuku, "where were you?! you were supposed to come to the classroom so i looked like an idiot standing there waiting for you, you fuckface!" he shouted.

izuku lifted his hand and patted bakugous head, making bakugou blush while still glaring. "sorry katsuki, hana stopped me and kept me there. but she gave me cookies to share! so here." izuku explained, then took a cookie from the bag and placed in bakugous hand.

bakugou inspected the cookie like it was an alien, then hesitantly took a bite. it was actually pretty good, making him scowl. "there pretty good!" izuku happily ate more cookies.

bakugou furrowed his brows, "i bet i could make better ones." he grumbled, but continued to eat the cookie.

izuku chuckled, "i bet you could katsuki. your katsudon is the best— actually your cooking is the best! so baking cookies would be easy for you." izukus eyes sparkled at the sound of bakugous katsudon.

"i know! im the fucking best at cooking, you don't need to tell me!" despite bakugous words, he felt a certain level of pride hearing that from izuku.

izuku knew that bakugou was very passionate about his cooking skills, so he always made sure to compliment his cooking. i mean, he would anyways since bakugous food was like heaven.

izuku passed out hanas cookies, everyone enjoying the sweet treat.

"hey katsuki, i love you." izuku suddenly blurts out.

bakugou raised his brow but you could still see the faint blush on his cheeks, "tsk, i love you too i guess."

izuku leaned down and kissed bakugous forehead, making bakugou scowl and look away, his blush deepening. izuku smiled cheekily at his reaction.

"arent they so cute together?" mina says, watching the whole scene play out.

"yeah, they really are." momo agreed, all the girls and boys at the table watching izuku tease bakugou as bakugou got embarrassed and shouted at him, but izuku smile never wavered.

"what are you fuckers starin' at huh?!" bakugou sneered. "nothing bakubabe! just watching you too makes me feel so single." mina wipes a fake tear and puts a hand over her heart.

bakugou rolled his eyes, "whatever pinky. i saw the way you looked at the pink haired girl that you made out with." he smirked, minas face turning a deep red.

she pouted and looked away, "i don't look at her like anything!... shes just kinda cute." she murmured.

"sureeee." bakugou extended the 'e'. mina sighed, "fine you caught me, i might have a teeny-tiny crush on her." she says, putting her thumb and pointer fingers close together to show how 'small' her crush was.

bakugou raised his eyebrows at her, a face of knowing. mina ignored it.
