The car parks next to the street. Sole stays in the car for a while, whilst his older brother, mother and younger brother unpack the car. These were his relatives, not a direct blood line.
Sole was 16 years old and his younger brother was 12 years old and lived with the family in this township. Sole was the only new member to join the family. He leaves the car last with his back pack on him and a laptop bag on his right hand as he crossed the street.
He walks up the inclined driveway into the house. Inside there were also other relatives, another brother older than him, the oldest sister and the father of this family. Which was Sole's uncle.
They were all happy to see him and welcomed him with warm arms. The mother was already on the pots, as always
"Would you like a plate Sole? It been a long drive..."
"Yeah sure mother why not"
Mother served everyone and they were all eating, drinking, chatting and laughing. It was a happy welcome home meal made for Sole. He felt like he belong and was happy to be part of this family. A beautiful home, beautiful furniture, many rooms, a happy family! Way better than back at the village.
This was the beginning of a new life for Sole. He was also happy that this family knew him very well. Since he was a young boy. They knew that he was not a person who talks a lot and likes to be left alone.
After a while when all the vibes in the house were cooled down, Sole grabbed a chair, sat outside and watched everyone on the streets. It was one hell of a busy street, people moving up and down non stop. Most of them realized that he was new in town and kept waving at him.
The love for the place was growing every. Second as he felt the love the place also gave to him.
There was a neighbor next to his house, they were only separated by a fence. He did not see anyone there for a long time as he sat outside. After some time, a group of boys walk up the street
"Hala brow, wassap?"
"All is well bros..."
"You new in the streets bro?"
"Yeah man I just arrived"
"Cool. Hope to see you around..."
The gang continues walking up the street. Just after they pasted, three beautiful girls walked down the street. They also saw Sole, but they did not greet him, they just pointed at him and smiled. As they walked into the neighbors yard.
"This place is gonna be cool!!"
Said Sole As he walked back into the house with his chair.
