Author's note i guess:

I haven't really got the courage to write that much anymore, nothing bad happened to me, i'm fine, but writing used to be a way of coping for me, and yeah, i'm not good at talking so heres this chapter, enjoy.

I woke up to the feeling of someone poking at me very hardly, putting not just a bit, but a lot of strength into each small poke.
Whoever it was must be strong, or knew how to correctly mess with me to get my attention.
Moving my head to indicate that I was awake didn't do anything, they just kept on going at it, poke after poke after poke.
I finally got the courage to say something.
"What do you want."
My deep voice sounded slightly deeper as I finished my sentence, which must have scared them or something cause they stopped and I heard running for about 5 seconds and then I was alone again.

Turning back my head to where they had sat at, they left their backpack, which was just a plain grey backpack, nothing special about it, kinda like mine, just plain and boring, nothing else.

I proceeded to go back to sleep, it was a long ride anyway, it took about an hour or so to get to the school.

Waking up again, someone was poking me. Again.

I turned my head towards them to see who they were at and it was someone I would least expect to be poking me, my own younger brother.

"I thought you were at school." I mumbled, showing him my tired face made him look at me a weird way, "stop poking my arm."

"Help." He whispered "I think i'm on the wrong bus."

"The middle school is next to the high school, when we get there just cross the road and you're there, now leave me alone, please."

He picked up his backpack and left to sit in the front of the bus.

"If any of you idiots dare to even get up again, i'm filling a report to the principal and calling all your parents" The bus driver said through the speaker thing, or whatever it's called.
No one cared by now, each of us got in trouble about at least a month or so, depends how many Seniors leave each year, you wouldn't understand but it's highly important to us.
If more Seniors leave the year before, then there's a very high chance the next year will have more Seniors, which means more chaos, and then leads to getting in trouble more.
The principal's office is always packed and has about an hour wait just to get punished, which is amazing for some people like me, who can just skip class for an hour and then get detention after school until six.
Which is fine for most of us, cause a lot of us grew up and are still in abusive households, it's just getting away from family for a bit until you get a punishment by your parents once you get home.

Our school is just genuinely messed up, so many teachers are quitting and funding by the parents is going down, so they might close the school down for good next year, which is fine, cause theirs mostly Seniors, and they'll be doing something else other than school next year, unless you want to actually go to college, but the nearest college is at least 3 hours away, and in total 4 and a half away from my own home.
And no, I doubt anyone would get into college, even if it's online, even if it's the smartest person in our school, many people in my school won't get into college, our test scores are horrible, 2/10 to be exact.

All of the kids have way too many problems, which makes them act up in class, and then leads to teachers getting too stressed out to work there anymore, and makes parents pull their kids out of school, which loses most of our funding, cause all the "bad kids" parents don't care about them and just leave them in school so they don't get arrested.

I woke up just as the bus hit the curb as always to take the turn to our high school, putting away my headphones into my backpack and my phone.

Slowly getting up, I got my backpack, threw it on, and put my hood up, walking over to the door to leave the bus as the driver parked and opened the door.

As usual, everyone got up and tried to exit all at once, making it even harder for anyone else to exit safely, which was fine, this happened almost everyday, for as long as I can remember, since Middle School started.

I entered the school, the rain hitting my hood and making a loud noise, I just put my head down and walked, I couldn't care less if someone walked into me or I walked into someone, I don't mind getting beat after school anyway.

Hearing fireworks outside behind the school, I walked to my locker and put in the code.

9551

It opened and I grabbed out my vape, which I left in there from a while ago, some pencils, and an old water bottle.

Walking to class, I accidentally bumped into some girl, who apologized immediately and which I just ignored and entered homeroom.

School was just another blur, like usual, like a dream that you have and you just forget the day after.

I wanted to walk to my home but it was a 6 hour walk so i took the bus, again.

I don't like taking the bus, it takes too long, and I don't like the amount of people who are on my bus, cause theirs only 3 busses in our school, the others are being used in other schools currently.

The bus was chaotic like it always is and it always will be, I just put on my headphones, and fell asleep, I always sleep on the bus, it's something i'll always do, especially on long bus rides, which school busses are the only busses i've ever rid on.
