Hayley sat in her room dormant. The same room for the past 400 years. Hayley's eyes travels to the double doors of her exquisite suite. Chains are wrapped around them ever so carefully with a lock holding the entire mess together.
The bright sun had disappeared by now and the dark sky ripped across the atmosphere. A sigh released from her lips as her bed kept getting softer and softer. A sudden knock came at her door. The first knock in 400 years. "Madame? I'm sorry to bother you but, your free to leave."
Hayley sat up quickly at the butlers words. A symphony of snapping chains and clinking metal echoed through the halls. The doors of her room flung open. Smiles met her face, her fathers, her mothers, and her brother. She held her mouth open and her eyes watered. Her brother ran to her quickly, his vampire speed allowing him to reach her 10 times as fast.
His embrace was strong and she yearned for the love of her family once more. "Jackson..." She mused softly against his chest. The rest of her family flooded in after Jackson.
Confusion fluttered through her head. After so long, why now? They wanted to protect her. Save her for a more important time. Was it this time she was waiting for?
Her father did not not mimic the teary-eyed expression her other family members had. His resembled a cat in water. Grim and not pleased what so ever. "Hayley," he said half acknowledging her.
Hayley nodded her head towards him. She did not expect much from him anyways. "Why do you let me out now?" She asks looking down at her clothing. Completely out of date compared to Jackson's.
Hayley wore a large dress concealed many by a corset. Her hair done up high and her makeup ever so delicately. Jackson wore tight black skinny jeans and a t-shirt with writing on it.
Black Veil Brides. She read the words not understanding too well what it meant.
"We are in grave danger Hayley. We need your help. Jackson will teach you to use your powers," her father said blankly.
Hayley nodded and turned to Jackson. A worried expression covered her face as she continued to stare at his clothing. "What year is it?" She asked shakily.
"2015." Hayley took a step back. 2015? It was 1615. 400 years of chains and no fresh air.
Jackson chuckled and wrapped his arm around her shoulders. An odd gesture in Hayley's eyes.
Jackson took her down a hallway. The old mansion had been modernized and had lost it's charm since 1615. They reached a large room filled with posters and a modern bed. On the bed sat two piles of clothes.
One pile sat a lump of black and red clothing. The other had pastel colors. Yellow and pink with floral patterns.
"Your pick," Jackson smiled down at her as Hayley scanned the clothes. She picked up the piles and shook her head.
"Niether," she muttered. "I don't like either of these. She look over to another hidden pile on the chair.
"You like that?" Jackson said pointing to the small pile. He held up jeans, a grey shirt and a leather jacket.
Hayley nodded and speeded over and snatched the clothes. "I love it."
Quickly, she placed the clothes on and topped it off with some 'converse' as they called it.
She shifted in her outfit. She liked it quite a lot com paired to the constricting dress.
