the entire travel back to the kingdom was exhausting for lisa. now that she is not riding on the wagon, she is walking on her feet and carrying a sack of potatoes
"again" roseanne said, both were rehearsing their excuse. "father i am sorry and roseanne did not know. this is all my fault" lisa recited again, defeated that she cannot use her royal power to put rose back at her place
the "this is all my fault" line was like music to the female warrior's ears. its like birds singing and being a glory. "very good" she complimented and laughed, to which lisa rolles her eyes on
"hey, savor this time now. how could you order me around, i have grasp on your reputation" lisa thought of a good comeback, thinking of all the things her father would do to roseanne if lisa came back harmed
"i do not care about you, your father is the only person that can rule me around. and besides, its really your fault" rose replied, stepping down on rocky trail as the sunlight caved in
"you are the one always disrespecting your parents, i mean wake up - you live a life where you dont have to do anything for yourself. many people would die to be you" she lectured but came awkward as she was met with a silent wind
with no reply, she turned around and saw lisa with a disappointed look on her face. a mix with sadness and anger, then she scoffed - "well, i dont like my place afterall" she muttered before walking pass by rose
leaving her stunned, roseanne could only feel regret as she eyed lisa struggling to pass by the steep trail. her arms out gracefully as she used it for balance. the clothes she gave her was not something lisa would normally wear bur roseanne thought she looks good in it
"this girl is full of mysteries" she sighed.

"STOP IN THE NAME OF THE KINGDOM" the guards were outside the big red gate. horses lined up, lisa was stunned while roseanne followed behind her silently. spades and arrows were pointing their way, the guards had no hesitation to shoot if these two were proven intruders and strangers
lisa ran upfront and had her hands up, "WAIT" she yelled, "ITS ME, LISA" she exerted her name, soon - the targets were ceased.
"ITS YOUR HIGHESS LISA, INFORM THE KING IMMEDIATELY" a man, whom lisa had known to be the leader and the most trusted man her father percieved yelled before getting down from his horse and walking towards her
"i am glad for your return, your parents has so many question" he bowed and smiled a little, but it all turned to a stance once again after familiar footsteps approached
it was the king, and he was angry.

"HOW COULD YOU BE SO CARELESS?!" seungcheol's loud voice echoed so much that the people who had witnessed felt like the paper windows were gonna rip. lisa was on her knees, avoiding eye contact as her mother held lisa on her arms
"ARE YOU INSANE?! GOING AWAY?!" he continued, startling lisa as his voice boomed. "WHAT IF AN ENEMY OF OURS CAPTURED YOU, THEN YOU'D BE DEAD AT THIS MOMENT" his anger couldnt be painted, jisoo didnt recognize him anymore
"DO YOU HAVE ANYTHING TO SAY FOR YOURSELF EVEN?!" he walkes closer to his wife and daughter. posture as stern as he waited for a response.
lisa drifted away from her mother's warm touch and faced the man he feared at this moment. "it was a mistake and it was my fault" she started, "i wasnt thinking and im sorry" lisa said
"after many years i tried to keep up with you, i tried to understand you and give you everything you could desire, this is how you repay me" seungcheol bothered
"the second you were out the kingdom, did you realize how your mother could have feel? how i could have feel? we were worried while you were out there god knows where" he stated, recalling the night he figured that something was wrong
"i know i know and i feel horrible, but lucky and thank god that roseanne was the one that found me" she sighed in relief, looking back at roseanne near the door who calmly raised her hand briefly
"you. come here" seungcheol called her, motioning with his finger to be exact. she diligently did, bouncing as she did so. "thank you, for bringing her back and keeping her safe" he thanked her, something everyone was shocked about
roseanne smiled and bowed down, offering her life as she did so. "and as for you" the king's attention diverted back to the main event. "i'll have a talk with you later" he pointed at her and sighed before returning back to the wonders of the kingdom
the ambience turned calm once again as his footsteo echoed and disappeared, jisoo went to lisa and cupped her face with her hands. the slight tears on her eyes made lisa feel like wanting to kill herself
"im so happy you are home" she smiled and kissed her forehead, "i'll see you soon okay, i need to talk to someone first" lisa nodded as she felt jisoo's warm hand travel away and like that she vanished into the kingdom once again
lisa sighed, "ehem" a loud and fake cough interrupted her, her eyes diverted to roseanne who was looking at her and had an amazed grin
"i guess i'll be having a platter of meat now your highness"
