Amelia Grace

March 20th, 2026

Darkness, it was all I could see. The light above me didn't even matter, it was on twenty four seven but it wasn't good, it didn't do much.

I was laying on the cold concrete, my head was hurting. I didn't know how many days I've been in here, it's been timeless. I didn't know if it was day or night or even what time it was.

I turned when I heard footsteps, pressed my cheek to the cold floor and closed my eyes. With both my eyes shut I heard the sound of a door being unlocked. I didn't open my eyes, I didn't want to.

"What did Ryan say?" a voice asked, "she's been in here for almost a month, I think he told us to get her out" the other voice said. "Right, let's do it then" the first voice said. I felt a pair of arms under me, lifting me up.

"What..." I whispered, "you're going back to your old room doll" I heard, who was that?

a pair of arms helped me up, my legs were sore and weak from laying down. Two men were now helping me out of the little room. My vision was blurry, my eyes were dry and I just wanted to lay down again.

"Take a nap, get some rest, Ryan is going to come and talk to you" I heard when I felt a soft bed under me. I heard a door being locked and I closed my eyes and tilted my head a little bit to look around. Everything was bright, my eyes were watering for the first time in what felt like ages.

I turned my head when I heard the door being unlocked. Footsteps too. "Well someone's ready to finally talk" I heard. "Amelia?" I heard, I looked over. Ryan. "Sit up" he told me, I sat up. I still haven't gotten food or anything to drink.

"Listen up, you're going to get one thing straight right here, right now" he told me. "You're killing Marco, like it or not," Ryan told me. "I hunted your boyfriend out of the town, finally" he said, "he hasn't been back for three weeks now" Ryan told me, "so we need to focus on the training, I need Marco dead soon" he told me. "Get a shower, training starts first thing in the morning" he told me as he walked out.

I didn't know how but it felt like I only slept for five minutes. But now it was six in the morning and someone came knocking on the door three minutes ago telling me I needed to get dressed. So I was getting dressed.

I walked down the hallway, more tired than ever. "Faster" I heard behind me. It was James. I didn't say a thing, I just walked. A door was opened by two men, I walked inside and saw Blake, he was standing by a treadmill.

I stopped when he looked over, "rise and shine" Blake smiled when he walked towards me. "You have a lot of things to do before we send you out to kill Marco" Blake told me, "get on that treadmill and run for an hour straight" he told me.

"I can't-" "You will," Blake said to me. "But I-" "You're behind and it's your own fault okay princess, get on it or we will have you run for two hours" James told me as he pushed me over to the treadmill.
