[Book 5] Sofia The First: Dad's the Word

Uh Oh

Everyone made their way to their next destination, while they were walking, Garrick saw something from a far distance, he turned to Leona

"hey Leona, I wanted to show you something" he said

Leona looked at her father, "what is it dad?" she asked

Garrick smiled, "follow me" he answered

Leona was curious as she followed her father, then, they both got into a big tree with lots of hand prints in it, Leona was surprised to see this.

"woah, what's this?" she asked

"This is the magic imprint tree, if we place our hand in the right amount of time, our handprint will be imprinted here" Garrick replied

Leona was surprised and awed at it, "can we try it dad?" she asked

"of course" Garrick answered

They both placed their hand on the tree, but Miss Elodie blew her whistle which means, it's time for their mext activity

"Gather up dads and daughters, it's time for some more dads and daughter fun!" Miss Elodie beamed

"Maybe we can try it out later sweetie" Garrick told Leona

Leona just nodded as they both joined in with the others for the next activity

There, all the dads and daughters were sitting while Miss Elodie is telling them what their next activity is going to be.

"alright everyone, I hope you are all comfortably seated well, because today, we will be having our dads and daughters sing-along!" Miss Elodie beamed.

"awesome, I hope you've been practicing daddy" Hildegard said with excitement

"of course I did sweetums" Henrik replied smiling at his daugher.

"this is so exciting!" Amber squealed

Sofia and Roland just giggled at Amber's excitement

"so Leona, ready to sing our hearts out?" Garrick asked

"I guess" Leona replied nervously

"alright everyone, it's time to SING!" Miss Elodie said as music started to play and she told them what to do.

"Now remember eveyone, you will each take turns to sing around the circle" Miss Elodie demonstrated.

Everyone began clapping their hands following the beat, but Leona seems confused and became more nervous.

"a song?, but, I don't know this song" she said looking at her father with a worried expression

"well I already heard about this song, but don't worry, just listen to to everybody else, you'll pick it up by the time it gets to us no problem" Garrick replied trying to calm his daughter down.

"Princess Kari, why don't you go first" Miss Elodie said

Kari stood up and started to sing....

Kari: When I was three, the dark scared me
And then at night I'd cry

Oberlyn: So I took Kari out for midnight tea
Now she loves the starry sky

"woah, they're good" Leona whispered to herself

Dads: Iggly, wiggly, woggly, woogly!
I love my daughter

Daughters: Woogly, woggly, woogly, whoa!
I love my dad

All: Together we go zippy, zappy, ooter, utter, otter, booly, bolly, gooly, golly, gad!

Next, it's Amber, Sofia and Roland's turn

Amber and Sofia: everyday, we always play, a game of dazzleball

Roland: everytime they ask me to play, I always answer their call

"woah, they're really good" Leona whispered

Dads: Iggly, wiggly, woggly, woogly!
I love my daughter

Daughters: Woogly, woggly, woogly, whoa!
I love my dad

All: Together we go zippy, zappy, ooter, utter, otter, booly bolly, gooly, golly, gad!

Next it's time for King Garrick and Leona's turn, but Leona doesn't know what to say.

Leona: When I was five, my dad and I...

"uh.......oh no..." Leona was in lost of words as she just looked at everyone embarrassed, "sorry about that dad, sorry everyone!" she said then she began to run away

"Leona wait!" Garrick said as he ran after his daughter

Everyone was shocked to what just happened

"this also happened to you on our first dads and daughters day" Amber whispered to Sofia

"I know, and I know how she feels" Sofia whispered back

"well, that was something..." Miss Elodie said, "okay everyone, how about we end this sing-along and just explore the area" she suggested

Everyone seems to like the idea as they all stood up and began exploring around to see more enchanted animals.

Hildegard was looking and exploring the bushes and then she saw a pelicant egg, she really wanted it to take the egg home so she began to walk slowly towards the egg but someone interrupted her...

"don't you even thing about it" a voice from behind said which made Hildegard startled

Hildegard turned around and saw Amber standing behind her with an angry look

"Amber? What are you doing here?" Hildegard asked nervously

"what am I dong here?.....I saw you aiming for that egg Hildegard, and don't you dare take that egg, you remembered what happened last year right?!" Amber said trying to stop Hildegard from taking the egg.

"Oh come on Amber, that was last year, and besides, no one will see" Hildegard said defending herself

Amber just let out a sigh, "fine, but don't say I didn't warn you!" she said

Hildegard smiled and she reached out for the egg and grabbed it, "see Amber, everything is fine" she said.

Amber just groaned as they both went back to join the others

what could possible go wrong?....
