~~~~Emily's pov~~~~

I woke up to the noise of music coming from the room next to me. It was too loud. Way too loud. Did he want to go deaf? Maybe he did. I knew for a fact it wasn't some of Josh's music. He didn't listen to anything that had a man screaming the song. In fact only a weird, weird person would listen to that it must be his room mate.  My older bother used to listen to that stuff before he... died.. I had to get used the fact it happened. The music sounded something along the lines of disturbed or bullet for my valentine. Yes... I sort of like them. But I've never told anyone that. Everyone at school thought I was one of those goody-two-shoes straight A's, cheerleader kind of girl. But appearances don't always turn out to be all that they seem. I finally gave up on trying to sleep mainly because the music was too loud. It was a weekend for God's sake I needed sleep. A knock on my door pulled me out of my thoughts. 

"Come in" I said while getting out of bed. Josh opened the door and pointed to the boxes that were in the hallway. "Really? Now?" I asked in a whiny voice.

"Yeah. Now. When you're do you can get dressed and I'll Take you out for breakfast." He replied.

"Really you're bribing me.. With food? Of course I'll do it but can you help? Please?" He shook his head. 

"I don't want to touch your girlie panties. You can unpack and I'll buy you breakfast. Then we can spend some money that your mum left you and buy some ikea stuff. I know how much you love that place." my face lit up..

"Really? Ikea?"

"Yes ikea. Now get to work." He said just leaving

"Oh, and Josh thank-you. Also tell your stupid room mate to turn it down, please." With that he walked out and the music was turned down.

It took me 3 hours to unpack and by that time it was 12:00. I finally got out of my dirty clothes that I was still wearing last night. I got dressed in a White tank top with a denim button up jacket with plain black skinny jeans and blue converse. I walked out in to the kitchen to get Josh. Of course he went out and left me behind. He was probably with Cait. and left me out it. They should so go out. 

"Short cake!! Didnt know you were still here." I knew that voice better than anyone else. Ryan. Ryan Jacobs. What as he doing here. 

"Yes Ryan? How can I help you? And why the hell are you here?" He was one of the most gorgeous guys around.

"Omg the goodie swore!. You should acually know who you're moving in with next time. Seriously."

"Wait.. Hold on. You're Josh's room mate?" No this couldn't be happening. He hated me and I hated him. He was one the biggest douches ever. He is player. 

"Short cake I thought you would have known. Dont I get a thank you for helping you move your boxes in at like 3:00 am last night?" I rolled my eyes at the lunatic.

"Thank- you." I said "You don't happen to know where Josh went do you? We had plans."

"Is he your new boy toy? I thought you were going out with the douche.. You know the one that made your life hell until just last year. After you gave your self a make over."

"Yes I'm still going out with Anthony and I'm not a player like y-" he cut me off

"So... You're cheating on Anthony? Oh. Wow short cake. You changed."

"I'm not cheating. I don't do stuff like that. Also I don't play people. Unlike you. You do both. Yes he asked me out after I dyed my hair and discovered make up but he could of liked me for ages." I was so close to storming out.

"Is that what he said?

"He did."

"Sweet heart have you ever heard of a bet? Hes just trying too get you in bed."

"Why are you telling me this? Are you trying to make me upset?" I could feel both anger and sadness build up inside me.

"I'm not lying. I promise."
