I woke only to find myself in my room. It was my room alright, but instead of my violet wallpaper, it was a plain white wallpaper in its place.
"I thought I was hit by a truck, but surprisingly I don't feel anything and surely I know am not dead since dead people don't wake in their rooms. Although my room looks a little different." I said to myself.
Just as I was wondering how I was alive, the door bursted open, mum came in and all I could do was stare in awe. Instead of her honey brown hair, in its place had a black hair dyed with little streaks of lemon green which I knew is my mum's favorite color.
Her dress was another thing entirely... She had on a roughly designed lemon green t-shirt and black jean penciled trousers, along with a black jean jacket that was tied around her waist. Her combating boots shocked me the most because, mum never wore or liked any other type of shoes if it weren't heels.
"Mum?!." I asked in shock. Mum laughed as she walked towards me.
"I see you have finally woken up after all the playing and dancing yesterday at your birthday party"Mum said.
"What?!." I exclaimed. My birthday was not due till next week, and what party is she talking about.
"Mum my birthday is on the 16th that is next week. I don't remember partying all night either." I said. Mum held a shocked expression, staring at me like I was talking crazy.
"Sweetheart, yesterday WAS the 16th, and you were so excited the day before your party that you couldn't even think straight." Mum replied like she was hoping I'd remember something.
My head spun, trying to make sense of what was happening right now. I stepped out of bed and went downstairs with mum following behind me with a worried look on her face.
I checked outside and saw it was morning. Sighing, I tried to put my thoughts together. Finally I came to a realisation and started laughing like a maniac
"Oh I get it now, am dreaming" I said to myself still laughing. Mum raised a brow
"I knew I should have taken you to a hospital when you hit your head hard on the wall last night." She said.
I ignored her and pinched myself, but I didn't wake up.
"Oh maybe I need to go back to bed and when I wake, everything would be back to normal" I told myself going back upstairs into bed.
I snugged tight and closed my eyes forcing the sleep in. Mum came in to peep on me, but went back without saying a thing.
Eventually, sleep crept up on me. After a couple of hours, I woke up, expecting to be back to the way everything was,.maybe even in a hospital due to the accident I had, but I was still in the white walled paper bedroom. Not only that, a group of kids around my age were sitting by my side having a worried expression on their faces.
There were two girls,a blonde with bright golden eyes and a brunette with large brown eyes. She looked like some kind of a live barbie doll with her white creamy skin. Beside the girls were three boys. One was a red-haired cutie. He had a tan skin with deep brown eyes, the second had an auburn coloured hair, having an auburn coloured eyes making him attractive in a very special way. But the last guy shocked me even more. He looked like on of those perfectly carved from heaven Greek princes,or those seriously attractive vampires. His skin was pale, but clear white. He had a crystal blue eye that seemed to glitter green whenever light shone in it. His hair was unusually black, like he dyed it extra black and still added colour. But had a cold expression on
"Who are you guys?." I asked
The blonde girl's eyes went wide open." You mean you don't remember any of us, not even me?!." She asked. I shook my head, looking at them one by one. The brunette girl gasped in amusement
"Her mum's right, I think Aliya has hit her head a little too hard." She said. At least my name was still intact.
The blondy sighed" Ok let's take this one baby step at a time, probably that would ring you a bell. Let's start with me, am Ashley, you used to call me Ash.."
Pointing to the brunette" This's Indie, ( now to the red haired) that's Jay, beside him is Bernard and the guy with the vampire face is Edward, call him 'Ed' for short, he's my brother."
I stared at each and every one of them, sinking their names into my head, but I felt Edward wouldn't fancy me calling him 'Ed'. He seemed to be the only one that dislikes me. Wondered why.
I stood up to open up the window binds only for me too see what I literally didn't expect.
Buildings stood taller than I had ever seen, trees had blue leaves instead of green. The sky seemed like a dense colour of light blue and little tint of green.
What shocked me the most was, seeing people moving about in the sky with some kind of boots with lights underneath them, aiding in their flight.
"Where am I..."
