Dolphs Pov

It's been a rough few weeks. Having my dream job, then having it ripped away from me. The job I worked all my life for gone. The thing I care about most, gone. I don't really care about the money, I'd find a job at a gas station or something. I love professional wrestling. I have passion for it. I want to be able to rise the bar like I do every single damn night. I want future superstars to work as hard as I have. I wasn't the only one who lost their job, Ryback and Eric Rowan did aswell.

Ryback and I became close friends in the time we were fired for. We began talking a lot more. We'd go for runs, to the gym together. We just instantly became friends. We were at my place when John won our jobs back. It was good to have him there with me. A friend, a dear friend to enjoy that moment with.

I'm glad to have my job back. Back doing the thing I love. I just can't imagine my life without me wrestling. Of course I'd still do a few stand up gig but that's really just a hobby. I don't think I want to make a living from that.

I'm backstage at Smackdown, roaming the corridors. I come across two good friends of mine. Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns.

"Hey dudes."

"Hey Dolph. How's things?" Dean asks with a smile.

"Good. Real good. Glad to be back here."

"Well it's good to have our in house comedian back. It was really quiet without you. Not the same at all. We missed you."

"Really?" I was shocked. I seriously thought I just annoyed people backstage. All my lame jokes. I expected the WWE universe to miss me a little because I am just too good. Haha. Sorry. Seriously, I never expected to be missed at all. I let a small smile before I replied.

"Good to know I was missed a little."

"Yeah, we love our free comedy gig."

"Haha. I guess I'll have to start charging." Then putting on a serious face.

"Dude, no. That's not fair." Dean pouted.

"Nah, I'm just kidding."

"Phew, seriously dude."

"Well, I best be off. Go prep for my match later."

"Good luck show off."

"Who needs luck?"

"Sheamus."

"You should do some comedy gigs yourself."

"I'll leave it to you man. See you later."

"See you."

I pull out my phone as I walk away. Checking all the tweets the fans have sent me. They ask how my day is, send me tons of fan art. Some drawings and photo edits. I must say some of these guys are damn talented. My eyes are glued to my phone, retweeting people, following some and replying to some of them. It's funny to think little things like that, pressing a few buttons on my phone can change someone's life for the better. Something so small can make someone's day. Knowing I have the power to do that, I try and do it as much as I can.

I suddenly bump into something... No someone. They knocked me off my feet. I look up to see Bad News Barrett getting up and Cesaro and Axel with him.

"You should look where your bloody going you blethering idiot." Barrett said.

"Sorry bro. Just giving back to the fans. You should try it."

"I don't care what your doing and don't tell us what to do."

"Fine. Just saying the fans appreciate it. Apologies again. See you later." Dolph went to walk away but one of them pulled him back.

"You will learn to look where your going."

The three then started to attack Dolph. A three on one assault. Throwing him into the nearby production crates then pushing him into the wall. Punches, kicks smothered Dolph. He stood no chance. Just him against the three other talented superstars. Pain overtook his body, he would beg for help if he could. Would anyone come to his aid?

Rybacks Pov

Dolph and I have been hanging out a lot recently. Both forced into the same situation, both of us fired. Losing our dream job, the only thing we ever worked for. I'm glad it happened actually, now I have a close friend in Dolph.

Hmmmm, I wonder where that show off is. We have a tag match on Smackdown, we planned to meet up and talk about a plan for the match. I'm walking around backstage and I hear someone scream in pain. I start to walk quicker, the scream gets closer. I go around the corner to see Dolph being beaten down by Barrett, Cesaro and Axel.

"Hey!" I shouted, getting their attention. "Get off him!"

"Come on then you big heap of shit. Come protect this waste of human flesh!" Axel says. Say what you like about me, but don't you ever say anything like that about my friends. Especially Dolph. He used that distraction to get out of the way. Good man. I've got this.

The three men tried to take Ryback down but he managed to fight them off initially. He was knocked down to his knees. Dolph saw this and tried his best to help but he was quickly swatted away. This enraged Ryback, overpowering the three. The three backed off, eyes wide, scared shitless.

"Don't you ever, ever touch Dolph again. The only time is when we are in the ring. Unless you want this to happen again."

"O-Ok. Ok." All three quickly darted away. A life lesson for people, never hurt or attempt to hurt someone that Ryback cares about. If you do, he'll kill you.

"Dolph. You ok lil man?" He said, sitting and pulling Dolph slowly into his lap, Dolph wincing in pain.

"Yeah... I'm just a little hurt. I'll be fine. Thanks for the save man. I appreciate it."

"I'm not gonna stand by and watch a friend of mine get hurt. Especially you Dolph. My buddy."

"Thanks again big guy."

"No problem. Now, let's get you to the trainers room."

"No. I'll be fine, it's not that bad." Ryback picked him up, bridal style. "Dude put me down." Ryback shook his head in response.

"We're going to the trainers room. Like it or not. I want to make sure you're ok. Besides, we have a tag match tonight and I need a partner."

"True. Fine but just this once ok?"

"Maybe."

"Do we at least get to go back to the locker room after, before the match?"

"Yeah. Dolph?"

"What's up big guy?"

"I just want you to know, I'll always help you out when you need it. Your my friend, no matter when you need it, give me a call."

"I will, you too man."
