Gabriel feels Nathalie go limp and he looks down at her. "Nathalie?"
Marinette looks over at them and sees Nathalies closed eyes and looks back at Adrien. "What's wrong with Nathalie? Is she sick?"
Adrien looks over at his fathers assistant and stops dancing. "I don't really know...my father won't tell me anything."
"Oh...I'm sorry, Adrien."
"No, it's ok Marinette." Adrien replies. "Why do you ask though?" Marinette responds by pointing at Nathalie. Adrien rushes over and Marinette follows.
"Is Nathalie ok?" Adrien asks, extremely worried about the woman he considers his mom.
Gabriel smiles at him a bit. "I think she just overworked herself and finally fell asleep."
Adrien frowns. "We should go home now."
Gabriel and Marinette nod. Gabriel picks Nathalie up bridal-style and carries her the car and Adrien grabs her crutches from by the couch and walks out with Marinette.
"ADRIKINS, WHERE ARE YOU GOING!?" Chloé screams from the door.
"AWAY FROM YOU!" Marinette shouts back. Adrien bursts into laughter as he opens the car door for Marinette.
"Bye Marinette! I had a lot of fun!" Adrien shouts from the car as Marinette walks into the bakery.
Nathalies head falls against Gabriels shoulder and he feels so guilty. If it wasn't for him, she could be perfectly fine right now. It just occurred to him that he had never actually asked Nathalie why she does all of this for him. He shakes his head. Question for another time, He thinks as they pull up to the mansion. Adrien gets out of the car and walks up to his room and Gabriel gets out and picks up Nathalie and carries her to her room.
He sets her down on the bed and takes her glasses off and sets them down on her nightstand. Gabriel stares at his beautiful assistants face for at least 10 minutes. He brushes a bit of hair off of her face and cups her cheek in his hand and leans forwards and kisses her on the forehead.
"I love you, My Beautiful Peahen."
