Its Okay (HotaruxReddington)

A/N Olay here's a oneshot of them talking etc. it's just the first thing I thought of watching Blacklist so. Leave comments and tell me if you want an actual story please.

Hotaru walked inside her apartment and shut the door. It was dark and she was tired, when suddenly she tripped. As her hands braced for a fall it didn't come. "Who's there?" She asked worriedly.

"It's just me." Came a low husky voice.

"Red? What are you doing here?" She tried to disentangle herself from the mans arms but she couldn't without seeing.

"I'm here to confirm your whereabouts." Reddington spoke in a serious tone of voice that made her shiver.

"Red your hurting me. Please let go."

"Now we both know what your capable of, and it takes a lot to hurt you. Now, answer the question.

"I was at the collage." She replied shakily. His grip tightened.

"Is that the only place you've been to?"

"Yes, I was in there all day except I guess between walking home and going between the buildings for lunch."

"What time is lunch?"

Hotaru was getting scared now. "It's at one. The usual time, except my class let out a little early today, so I waited in the entrance for maybe ten minutes."

"I see." He let go his tight hold on the blind girl. She fell forward slightly into his hard body giving her something to lean on. "Well it's good thing I know you so well dear."

"Why?" She asked backing up slightly.

"Because all the cameras at your collage were cut off, and I know there's something your not telling me."

Hotaru began to shake. She knew he sounded very serious, and something had happened. But she didn't want to say. "I was there all day, what else is there you want to know."

"I want to know why your hiding something from me." He held her shaking body in his firm one. "Now tell me."

Tears started to fall from her eyes. "I can't. You'll hate me for sure." Her body was wracked with sobs as she shook in his arms.

Reddington held her close stroking her hair softly. "I will never hate you. Well if you killed someone very close to me or something like that I might."

The girl wrapped her arms around Reddington holding him close. "Today, right before lunch, a teacher tried to touch me." She whispered.

Fury swelled up into his heart at this. "And this is a collage for the blind." He sounded slightly shocked, and he never sounded shocked.

Hotaru just nodded her head. "I didn't want to tell you Raymond." She held him tighter as if afraid someone might take her away.

"He didn't get to touch you though right?" He asked this yet again seriously. She shook her head. "Well that's good." He picked her up then sat down with her in his lap. "Why do you even bother to stay acquainted with me."

Hotaru replied softly. "Because, I know your not the romantic sort. You never were really were you."

"No."

"Well, it's because I love you Raymond. And it's because I know you care for me somewhere in that black heart of yours."

"Hotaru, I hope you know I would never judge you by what someone forced upon you. And I'm glad nothing bad happened to you. But it might be a stretch that I care for you."

Hotaru felt the smile on his lips. "You are impossible." She leaned into him kissing the man softly on the lips. Reddington soon was kissing her back dominating the kiss. Finally they broke apart.

"I can't do this." He said standing up and placing the girl softly on her feet. "I'm sorry."

Hotaru smiled up at him. "You shouldn't try to forget your family. It's okay for you to still love them and learn to love again. And I'm okay with waiting on you."

Reddington placed his hat back on his head then patted Hotaru softly on her black hair. "I swear, sometimes it feels like your eyes can look into my very soul."

She giggled giving him one last hug. "Yes well I guess that's one of the perks of being blind and dangerous."

"Well goodbye my dear."

"Goodbye Raymond."
