Jaken the toad he is started cooking the fish he caught for me and him to eat as Sesshomaru watched over both of us, and I kept scolding Jaken for almost setting himself on fire several times and had to throw water on him I got from the stream by the hut, and he was soaked to the bone, and Sesshomaru watched with a bored look upon his face as I took over cooking the fish, and Jaken pouts as I flipped each fish over as they began cooking.

"What would you two do if I wasn't around now?
I swear."
I sigh as I cooked the fish.
"To be honest this is my first time foraging for stuff and also being on my own with strangers.
I always had my grandpa or Karen my friend."

Sesshomaru looked at me as I smiled sadly when I said that, and I looked to the flames and then say.
"My parents to be honest were murdered when I was a child and I saw it happen, me hidden in a closet, and it was traumatic."
Sesshomaru blinked as I look at him.
"Don't look at me like that, at least I had my grandpa, and he helped me out until he passed on, and then I met Karen.
Karen and her child Arthur is my whole world or was."

"Why are you telling me this?"
Sesshomaru asked me.

"I guess I feel like telling you, and maybe I need someone to tell them how I feel after all the things I went through cause I held it in so long, and I trust you since you saved me."
I look at him, then the fish.
"The fish are done."
I then pull each fish from the fire and set them on leaves and say to him next.
"Want some?"

"I do not indulge on human food."
Sesshomaru says to me.

"More for us I guess?"
I say to him, and Jaken walked over to me as I hand him two fish on sticks, and he gobbled them up, and I sweatdrop at him inhaling the two in one big gulp.
"Yeesh you inhaled that shit!"

Sesshomaru goes wide eyed at my language.
"Makes me wonder where you put it all and if the bones tear up your asshole too?"
I cringe, and facepalm myself.
"Dear gawd!"
I made an Ew Face.
"Me and my big mouth!"
I look to Sesshomaru and he looked shocked at my language.
"Yeah I'm a joy ain't I?"
I giggle at his reaction and took a bite of the fish, and be careful to not eat the bones.

"My dad was a military brat so cursing was a big thing in the household, I learned as a toddler, like second nature."
I say as I chew up my food and swallow it down.

"Military?"
Sesshomaru asked me.

"He was a in a war."
I tell him, and Sesshomaru blinked confused.
"He was older than my mom by several years, my mom was sixteen, he was in his thirties.
Big no no back home, but she loved him, and well her parents kicked her out when she got pregnant with me by him, so my dad took her in, and they had to go to a certain state to get married legally."
I tell Sesshomaru.

Sesshomaru looked confused by such a story, and I tell him.
"Laws are different in my country."

"I see."
Sesshomaru says to me.

"People under the age of eighteen it's illegal to be with someone as old as my dad and it's considered rape if my dad was with her, but the two had to prove it wasn't to be together back then."
I tell him, and Sesshomaru frowned.

"It is different here, any woman who is of childbearing age is sought for marriage."
Sesshomaru says to me.

"I know, children as young as twelve or eleven."
I tell him.
