Questioned

Sean stepped out the portal and found himself in a hallway with a large door infront of him. Eveline stepped out behind him and gave him a warm smile.

"You'll be fine" She gave him a warm smile.

The door opened revealing a circular room where he stood in the center. Four...People? Supernaturals looked down at them. Sean knew he should of been scared from their presence but he wasn't. Just nervous. He assumed that was only him as Eveline grabbed his hand scared.

"Are you ok?" He asked her.

"Y..Yeah. I had heard of their fear enchantment before but i didn't know it was so strong..." She whispered, then noticing he didn't seem scared. "Are you not affected?"

He shook his head.

Eveline looked down and opened her mouth to say something when a woman's voice said "Enter"

Sean and Eveline started to walk in when a male voice said "Not the witch. Just the wolf"

Sean looked at her before she nodded and went to wait outside. Sean walked in and saw the four supernaturals staring at him. From their sents, one was a witch, one was a vampire, one smelt like a fish (Sean assumed mermaid) and one was a werewolf.

The werewolf gave him a galre as he walked in. Sean guessed he could tell what he was.

Sean heard the door close behind him as the witch leaned forward and glared at him

"Your name?" She spat.

"Sean" Sean replied, looking at her. "Sean Mcloughlin"

"What type of shapeshifter are you?" The werewolf glared. Sean knew that he already knew from how tense he looked. He most likely just wanted confirmation.

"Werewolf" Sean replied.

"I've known all the werewolves in my time and I've never seen you" The werewolf spoke. He let out a growl, seeming more wolf than man.

"I'm new...Uh.." Sean didn't know if it was a good idea to lie to these people. Should he tell them the truth? Should he say he was the king or lie and say he was just bitten? It was technically the truth. He was bitten. "Just bitten"

"Lies!" The werewolf man yelled with  a loud growl, causing Sean to jump a bit. "I know that sent. You're the new king!!"

"Hector. Calm" The mermaid spoke softly.

"I am calm!" The Werewolf, Hector growled at her before diving down, shifting at will into a large grey wolf.

Sean's inner wolf felt challenged and tried to break out at one point but Sean managed to keep it at bay.

"Susie. Sleeping song" Sean heard the witch above order the mermaid. "Frank. Help Susie"

The other three council members jumped down too and just when Hector pounced at Sean the mermaid, Susie, sang a soft song in the wolf's ear causing him to fall fast asleep. The Vampire, Frank, ran to them as the witch walked up to Sean.

"Come with me" She spoke, Sean followed her to the other side of the room. She opened the door and ordered him to sit at a desk inside.

"My name is Esmeralda. We just want to ask you a few questions" She spoke, sitting opposite him.

"Ok. Fine. But is he gonna be ok? I didn't mean to make him angry" Sean spoke, glancing at the door.

"He'll be fine. He gets aggressive when around other wolves that threaten his position" The witch spoke as she wrote.

Esmeralda didn't seem too bothered by him and just seemed like a tired worker that wanted to be done with the day and go home.

"Threaten his position? I don't want his position" Sean replied.

"Did no one explain to you how werewolves work?" Esmeralda  questioned as she looked at him. Sean shook his head a little.

"My family kept my wolf side hidden from me and my supernatural friends are trying their best to help me. I know that we shift under a full moon, i have highted senses now and the craving for meat. I don't even know what the werewolf king does..." He replied, looking at the table.

"I see. Well. Werewolves are obviously different from regular wolves. Starting with the fact, you're more human. You have a human form, live human lives. You don't live in packs or have Alphas and all that stuff. Most well known is you shift under the moonlight and that's it. Most werewolves can remember themselves in their wolf forms but won't have much human control as it reflects your human personality. Your a nice guy? You'll be a friendly wolf. You're an asshole? You'll most likely will be blood thirsty" Esmeralda explained as Sean looked at her with interest.

She watched him look at her and gave a small smile. "There are some cases where a group of werewolves will form a gang with a leader and one goal in mind. That can resemble a pack but they're never loyal to one another like a real wolve pack"

Sean listened. He thought of Roxy and her family. How her own mother had created that gang to summon him.

Esmeralda looked at him. "From our reports, it seems like you had a run in with one" Sean gave a nod.

"Now, Hector is somewhat of a leader. Not just to werewolves. But his history made him focus more on his wolf half than his human one. He's a lot more wolf than other weres. He thinks he's an Alpha. You being the king would threaten that position" Esmeralda told him.

"I don't have an interest in his position here" Sean stated.

"No but you're mere presence is enough to scare werewolves into shitting themselves" She smirked. Sean looked down

"I don't want people to be scared of me.." He mumbled.

"No. You don't seem like the kind of guy that would" Esmeralda said. "I don't know much even myself about the werewolf king but from what I've heard. They're always a leader"

Sean stayed quiet causing a small silence to fade in until the door swung open.

"Sean!" Eveline smiled.

"Eveline!" Sean grinned, he ran up and hugged her tight.

Esmeralda chuckled. "A werewolf and a witch. That's something you dont see everyday"

Sean ignored her. "What questions did you have for me?"

"Oh! Yes!" Esmeralda smiled. "Do you know the identity of the rampaging shifter and is it you?"

"No. I'm sorry. If we find anything, we'll tell you" Sean replied.

"And it isn't Sean. Everytime he shifts, he stays close by to me and his other friends" Eveline replied.

"Of course" Esmeralda smiled. "Your free to go"

Before they turned to leave, Sean gave her a smile.

"Thanks" He said. "For the lesson"
