Hello there & welcome :D

Just a couple of things, first be sure to check out the pictures above in every chapter for character reference! It's always nice to have a visual in your head when you are reading. This book may be slow to update, but you can rest assured knowing that I have the whole basic plot planned, I just need to write it! :)

This is mostly StrayKids fanfic but Ateez will also have a main role in the story, I am still new to the Ateez fandom so please excuse me when I make mistakes considering the characteristics of some members, the same goes for any other group whose members I will include into the story! This fanfic will have a boyxboy storyline so be excited if that is your cup of tea!

Let's get started!

Felix let out a long sigh. He was sitting by the counter of a small bar he found in between the streets of this small town. The bar was not really crowded, considering it was already 7 p.m. on a Friday. A couple of middle-aged men dressed in suits were the only clients besides Felix. The bartender came up to the young man and gave him the cup of coffee he had asked for. He was in great need of some caffeine. Felix had been in this town for a week already without any new clues to where his best friend could be. 

Two years ago his best friend went missing and ever since then Felix was traveling through South Korea in search of him. The police already gave up, claiming that he was dead. But Felix couldn't give up on him. He wasn't dead, he couldn't be! Atleast did the young Australian boy hope so. 

He wasn't only his best friend but also his lifesaver. When Felix first came to Korea in order to study music at one of the best universities in the world without knowing any Korean, this young boy from Busan who was living in the dorm right beside him, offered him his help. He taught Felix Korean and everything else the foreigner needed to know about the country and its culture. In return, Felix always played video games with the younger and baked him brownies. Felix grew very fond of him and his parents also felt at ease, knowing their son had found a friend he could rely on. 

However, after their first year of university, Felix got sick. He wasn't able to even sit up straight in his bed without feeling like he was about to faint because of the pain he was feeling. After seeing a doctor he had been told that both his kidneys were no longer working properly. Felix was a rare case because normally this would only occur at a higher age. He needed kidney transplantation in order to survive. His one and only friend who had been by his side this whole time should become Felix's savior. After some tests, the doctors approved the wish of the young student and could proceed with kidney transplantation. Felix was forever grateful to him for saving his life. He gave Felix a part of him. That's why he could not stop looking for him. It's the least Felix could do to pay him back. But the only clue Felix had to find his best friend and lifesaver, was a name. Hwang Hyunjin. 

*********Flashback*********

"So you think that the light blue sweater would be better?", the younger asked while holding up two sweaters and tilting his head slightly. Felix nodded eagerly and jumped up and down on his bed.

"This is your third date with him right?", Felix asked while the other changed into the new sweater and stepped in front of his mirror to put his hair back into place. 

"Yes! I am so nervous, the third date is supposed to be special. It's where things start to get serious...", the younger blushed slightly and played nervously with the end of his sweater while looking at Felix through the mirror.
