Chapter 17 ~ Prom

(Lily's VO): 4 weeks since my overdosed, Prom is this Saturday, I'm going to AA meetings to stay sober. I don't know if i want to go to prom, i just want to stay with my daughter and spend time with her. Tessa is being really protective since the whole overdosed situation, i love her so much, but I'm fine. Tessa really want me to go to our Senior prom but I'll try and go to prom. 

~* i woke up and walk to the bathroom and rinse my face and walk back to my room and pick up Anna from her crib and walks down to the kitchen and fix her a bottle and feeds her. I kissed my daughter head as she finish her bottle and i burp her. I set her bottle on my nightstand and rocks her as she falls asleep in my arms as i got up and walks to her crib and set her in her crib gently and kiss her head and gives her pacifier, as i sat back down on my bed scrolling through tik tok and i heard a knock on my door as i say ''come in'' as the door open, they walk in and it was Tessa, my beautiful girlfriend, she walks towards me and kissed me.*~

Tessa: You doing okay bebesita?

Lily: Besides it's been 4 weeks I've been recovering from my overdose, yeah never been better.

Tessa: i know it hard but you'll be back to normal, just take baby steps bebesita.

Lily: Okay bebe, only because i trust you and your words

~*As i lean in and she kissed me*~

Tessa: So...

Lily: So....?

Tessa: What about prom? Still want to go?

Lily: I.. I D-don't know, I probably just will stay home and spend time with my daughter.

Tessa: L-lily What about my prom proposal? And this is our senior year.. don't you want to enjoy it? i won't force you babe, just do what makes you happy. I'll still be here. 

Lily: can i just think about it bebe?

Tessa: Sure but in the meantime can we have some fun while Anna sleeping?

~*As i get on top of Tessa and giggles and lean in and kiss her on her lips and pull away and look at her as she look at me and lean in and kissed my lips deeply and pull me close to her chest and continues to make out until my mom knocks and opens the door and close it really fast as we jump up and I told my mom "come in ma" as she comes in and smiles*~

Giselle: Hey Mija, how are you feeling?

Lily: I'm okay. 

Giselle: You sure honey? 

Lily: I'm sure mom

Giselle: okay ~*nods*~ I'm here if you need anything 

Lily: okay mami

~*As My mom exits the room and I look down as Tessa looks at me and lift my chin up and ask me ''what's wrong babe?'' as i look up at her*~

Lily: Just i feel like i put my moms in pain from my lashing out and running off and overdosing. 

Tessa: You know they both love you very much right? It's not your fault you feel the way you do baby

Lily: But why do i feel the way i do? 

~*I starts to sob as Tessa pulls me to her chest, i said ''It's hurts so much!'' I sobs again. and said again ''Make it stop! make the pain go away!'' As Tessa holds me tight and kissed my head and said ''shh it's ok. I'm here now, I'll help you get through this.''  As I sniffs and looks up at her and she kissed my lips and i kissed her back softly. I said ''really bebe?''  As she said ''Every step of the way baby girl''.  As she nods and i drifts off to sleep.
