"Mom, I've prepared the list of expenses for entire month. We'll have to cut down on our spending."

"Let me see." Tae's grandmother  tried to take the book from his mother hand to re-check everything. But his mother was insisting that there was no need for it.

"Sung-hee, let me see!" This grandmother yelled. His mother sighed and look the other way giving up the book. This grandmother putted on her glasses and carefully checked the list.

"What is this? Why did you remove your medicines from the list? Did you forget what the doctor said? You can't stop taking the medicine!" Taehyung stopped on his track hearing his grandma loud voice scolding his mother, who looked like she was crying.

"Why did you remove olive oil from the list? Sung-Hee, your food is to be cooked in olive oil. The doctor said that it was important. Let me be clear. Remove whatever you want from the list....but I wont let you compromise with your health"

"You tell me what do I do, then? I'm not going to die if I don't take medicines for a while. Sure, I will undergo pain, but the pain will be nothing.....as compared to the pain Taehyung is going through." Tae's mother was whisper-yelling, for she did not want to alarmed Taehyung. She was a crying mess thinking about all the pain her son had to go through.

"You are right she had gone through a lot in the last few days. I dont know why people say that times changes, situation changes, and that time heals every wound. But nothing like that happened with our Taehyung. On top of that, everything has become expensive. The coast of living is increasing by the day. We can't even say anything to Taehyung" Tae's grandmother said looking down. His mother came back to sense after hearing the last sentence.

"Mom, please don't say anything to him. I-I haven't told him anything. How can I tell him that our marriage hall isn't ours any more. That it had been sold." Tae's mother was starting to cry again. Taehyung was shocked to hear that the marriage hall, where his family get the income from has been sold and that he was not informed.

"I told him that the hall was closed because it was undergoing renovation. I can't even tell him that the builder's application to construct a building on that land has been passed....He has his own problems to deal with, how can we tell him about our problems?" Taehyung was speechless to hear all the problems his family was going through.

'Everyone in the house is worried and I wasn't even aware of it. I was so occupied with my own problems, that I couldn't see what they were going through.

We're undergoing such a severe financial crisis, that mom is having to stop taking medicines. She is doing so much for us....and instead of helping her, I'm being a burden on her.

No, Even though this is my own family, I can't be so selfish to ignore everyone else's problems, expect my own. They are supporting me, even though they have problems of their own and I'm not doing anything. I'll have to earn money and help my family.

But how do I tell mom and grandma about it? If they come to know that I want to work for money, then they won't allow me to work. I'll have to do something to ensure, that they not only let me work, But also don't come to know that I want to work to support the family financially.' So many things were going through Taehyung mind.

"For how long will this continue? For how long will we have to tolerate this? The people who don't even deserve to be here are ruling over the house. And the one who should be here is at his mom's place. The ones who should be punished are having fun. What has Taehyung hyung done to deserve this, granny? I don't understand why she's getting punished. Everyone knows the truth. But we aren't able to do anything. We will have to do something." Soobin ranted out, he was frustrated by the whole situation. Everything is wrong, nothing was right.

"You are right, but our hands are tied. We can't do anything even if we want to. Jungkook has lost his memory and the doctors have told us not to remind him of the anything. You know that Jungkook is the only one I can turn to? He is my only family left, if something happens to him I will die." Granny said shaking her head. She was praying to God that everything would go back to normal soon.

"He's the one who built this house and held this family together. If something happens to him. Everything will be ruined. Nothing will be left..."

"Granny, I know what you're saying is true. But Jungkook hyung doesn't have any control over the house. Mina is calling the shots. She knows that Abhi doesn't remember anything...and that jungkook is very close to her. She is taking advantage of this... and is making Jungkook hyung do whatever she wants. We'll have to get Mina and Chae-young out of Jungkook hyung's life somehow. And we'll have to bring Taehyung hyung back."

"But that can only happen, if Jungkook regains his memory. And we've no other option but to wait for that to happen." Granny said as tears dropped down her cheeks.

"But Granny, it makes sense to wait, only if we're convinced that after some time, everything will be alright. But here, we don't even know when he'll regain his memory. We'll have to think of something. We'll have to do something-"

"No, Soobin. The doctors have asked us to exercise restrain. If we force him to remember things, then his life will be endangered and I won't take such risk. Never!" Granny cut Soobin mid-sentence. Soobin sighed sadly and left after telling her that, they will do whatever she want. Granny felt sad seeing Soobin leave, but did nothing to stop him, she just sat back down as tears fell down non-stop. She felt horrible for being so selfish. She cried as she prayed for Jungkook to recover soon.

Soobin was heading toward the door with his head down. He needed fresh air, the air inside the house was suffocating him. He suddenly bumped into someone, he was about to apologize, but stopped when he saw who it was. He tried to leave, but was pulled back.

"Soobin. At least listen to me. I know that you are angry with me. And you have every reason to be. All of the things that happened in the past, shouldn't have happened. But let bygones be bygones. Even Jungkook has forgiven me. Then why can't you let go of the past and start a fresh?" Mina asked with hope in her eyes. Soobin was really irritated, even the sight of Mina made his blood boiled.

"Get such thoughts out of your head, Mina. Because I can't forget what you did to me and to this family. Aren't you requesting me to forget everything and become your fiancé, like before? I have request for you. Stop expecting that things will get normalized between us because that will never happen. Let alone this life I don't want anything to do with you in any life. How can I trust someone, who betrayed her own brother? You want to marry me to satisfy your ego. But you see, I'm also egoistic. And my ego won't let me forgive you." Soobin gave her a quick sarcastic smile before angrily bumping into her, causing her to take a few step back.

For how long will you remain stubborn? You will bow before me soon, just like everyone else. Mina smiled to herself. She knew that Taehyung would never dare come in front of her brother, in fear of hurting him.
