"Do you have a job?" Mark asks as he leans on the couch to have a serious talk with Donghyuck.

The latter was offended. "How do you think I was able to raise Minhyuck if I don't have a job?"

Mark shrugs. "Support?"

Support? Four fucking jobs everyday to just earn money to feed Minhyuck, support?

"You know what? Just leave."

Mark furrowed his eyebrows and crosses his arms over his chest. "I thought we'd talk about Minhyuck and you'd let me have him?"

"I did not say I will let you have him. I said, we'll talk about it. But you're being such a jerk right now that I regret having this conversation with you!"

"I also regret having you in my life. Did you hear me complain about it?" Mark rebuts making Donghyuck whip his head and send glares.

Where did the pleading Mark go? Where did the crying Mark go?

This is not the Mark he used to love. Mark would be so kind with him, tell him things lovingly and he was not this harsh. People really do change.

Of couse, it's been years. Donghyuck just can't expect Mark to be the same one after all those years. He can't expect Mark to love him the way he loves the older. He can't expect Mark to be kind with him.

"I don't regret having you in my life..." Donghyuck utters. "Unlike you, I love Minhyuck and you know what? I'd go through all that pain again just to have him."

"You think I don't love him?"

"Yes... It hasn't even been a day since you two met."

Mark smirks. "You think you were the only one who was hurt?"

Donghyuck stuns. He didn't ask Mark how he has been after the break up. He didn't even glaced at Mark after he said he wants to break up. He didn't even answer Mark's one last call the night after that. He thinks Mark was okay that time. He thinks Mark didn't experience the pain he also suffered from.

"I thought there'd be no strings attached. Why are we talking about the past?"

Mark leans back. "Let me have the kid."

"Fuck you. You really do think I'd let you have him so easily? You denied him!"

"I thought we're not going to the past? Why are you bringing that up again?"

Bickering. Fighting. Rebuts. Argument. This is why Donghyuck and Mark thinks they should never get back together, even for the sake of their own son. The think they shouldn't really let themselves in an enclosed space since they'll only end up fighting.

"God. Please Donghyuck..."

Here he goes again with his sad puppy eyes. Fuck this.

Donghyuck sighs loudly as he opens the pack of ramen to pour it on the hot water. He's starving and this conversation is tiring him out even more.

"You have work weekdays don't you?"

"Yes."

"You can have him Saturdays, one hour, then you give him back to me. Only if... he agrees."

"Donghyuck... You know that's not enough. One hour? In one day?"

"You're complaining?"

Mark was fuming mad. "Fuck! Yes!" He shouted.

The baby started crying on his crib. Donghyuck mouthed a curse before pulling him up to his arms and craddling him in his lap to make him sleep back again.
