Episode 13 : Changes

Aryan lays on his bed thinking about me. He grabs his chest & mouths—

Aryan: am I thinking right? If it ain't then why would Ankita drew me! Why you always play with my heart? Why? But if she really falls for me— but- how I can face her tomorrow? Oh no no- I can't- but Aryan stop- you're a BIG BOY, you have to face her. Stop being dumb-headed!! Ah- stop- heart stop—

[He closes his eyes & falls into his dreamland]

At my side—

I can't sleep. I'm feeling helpless by loosing my pad.

Me: how I can lose it! I'm really a dumbass. I love him & I had to protect his belongings! But I failed- shame on you ANKITA! what if I never find it! No no! And what I'll lose Arya-n— NO—

[I sigh & then my nightmares start]

Next Day, At school—

I sit on my bench keeping my chin on my palm thinking deeply about yesterday. Niddhi sits besides me not disturbing my state of mind. She understands that I'm not recovered yet. I see students entering from the entrance. Then my all focuses fall on Aryan. I see him through the window. I smile. But my smile doesn't stay long after seeing Sonia clinges on Aryan. I disgust. Then I move away from my state & look at Niddhi who looks at me with concerned eyes. My heart melts.

Niddhi: Are you okay? (I nod & hug her)

Me: Can I stay like this for a while?

Niddhi: Yea........Ankita?

Me: Hmm?

Niddhi: At lunch time we'll go to the office & enquiry about your drawing pad, okay?

Me(sitting properly): you don't have to- I already did that work. Ma'am said she didn't even see it.

Niddhi: I'm sorry— (I shake my head as 'no')

Aryan enters to the classroom. He comes near to our seats. Our eyes get connected but I feel ignorance in his behaviour. He sits left bench of mine.
"What's happened to him?"

I don't say anything. Teacher comes. Class arrives.

Periods of periods passed & Aryan's ignorance goes deeper.
"Why is he ignoring me?"
"Is that because of my yesterday's behaviour?"

At lunch time—

Me goes asks Aryan about taking lunch together.

Me: Aryan— do we–?

Aryan: I'm sorry Ankita, I have some my works-

Me: oh– kay—

Then me & Niddhi get down from the stairs for taking lunch at canteen. But Sonia stops our way.

Sonia: Ankita I wanna talk to you.

Me: say- I'm listening—

Sonia: I wanna talk to 'only' you.
(She meant to leave Niddhi as she does)

Me: say what you want–
