it was quiet for the most part in the evergreen family's 1983 honda accord. natalia stared out the window as cars went by on the highway. then one sign caught her eye. "hawkins, indiana; living hell on earth" the last part was graffitied on with red spray paint.

"daddy, why do we have to move here. this place is gross!" she wined. "honey, we have to. mayor cline gave me a job offer i couldnt decline." he replyed in a dissapointed tone.

"plus nat we get to see aunt karen, uncle ted, mike , nancy and holly again!" she said happily looking at her dughters glum expression turn into a joyful one. "wait really?!" natalia happily exclaimed. her mother nodded her head.

"in fact were here!" jeffry said, pulling into the fairly large drive way. "woah this house is way more then i was expecting!" natalia smiled.

"come on mickey!" natalia grabbed her dog carrier that stored a fluffy white pappion puppy. the family walked into the large white colonial house. jeffry's phone rang.

"hello jeffry evergreen speaking." there was a silence. "your kidding. really? damn it. yea we'll figure something out. yea. bye." he hung up the antenna phone.

"honey who was it." carol asked. "it was the uhaul guys. they wont be here till thursday because theyre stupid truck broke down." he replied.

"i'll go call Karen and see if we can stay at their house until then." carol scrurried out of the room. natalia's smile turned into a frown. "WHAT! BUT DADDY ALL MY STUFF IS IN THERE!" she yelled frigtening her little dog.

"honey. you'll get all of it thursday i promise."  jeffry said trying to calm the teen down from her unnecassary distrese. carol came back into the living room with a smile.

"karen said it was okay if we stayed with them until thursday."  jeffry smiled. "okay then everyone get in the car!" the evergreens got into the car and drove to the wheelers.

" hi carol! how are you? how was your trip from new york?" karen exclaimed gesturing the family to come in.

karen gasped. "oh look at you natalia you've  gotten so big!" she said hugging natalia like it was the last time. she would ever see her.

"MICHAEL, NANCY! UNCLE JEFFRY,AUNT CAROL AND NATALIA ARE HERE!" there soon was running down the stairs.

"Nat! Your here!" Nancy exclaimed hugging the teen unbearably tighter then her mother had. "too...tight...can't...breath." natalia breathed out. "sorry, sorry." nancy said letting go.

"nat?!" mike exclaimed standing in the doorway. "hey mike!" she waved. "i missed you!" he chimed, giving her a way less tight of a hug then the other two family members.

"wanna play dnd?" he asked. "sorry mike but me and nat have something to talk about." nancy said dragging natalia away from mike and into her bedroom.

"hey. that hurt." natalia puted as she rubbed her arm. "sorry. but guess what." he exclaimed but not too loud for her parents to hear. "what is it?" natalia asked now intrigued. "i got a new boyfriend." she smiled biting her lip.

"i see mr steve didn't last long." natalia giggled. nancy gave her the stfu face. "no but seriously im happy for you nance." she smiled. "so. who's the lucky boy?" natalia asked in a sing song way.

"well his name is jonathan and he does photography." nancy smiled. "ooo." natalia said. "so. do you have a boyfriend?" natalia's eyes widened. "no. youreally think i would be in a long distance relationship with someone over 1000 miles away?" she asked. "touché." nancy said.
