Willow would never admit to mentally questioning Angie. The orange Milly was insane! According to her outfit she looked like a typical sporty gal. White shirt, denim jeans and so forth. How was SHE going to protect Willow? He had to admit, her walk looked like she knew what she was doing. A Sassy and arrogant was plastered on her face. Willow had to wonder if she hated it here. It was,, boring. Nothing but green, brown and the orange-redness of the dirt on the trail. Not to mention how itchy the overgrown grass was on their legs. In a moment, he was on the floor, a sharp pain in his nose. "A- ow!" He whimpered, holding his face. "Well, watch out then, you big dummy." Angie said, turning around and gesturing to a branch that he must have hit his face on while not paying attention. She whirled around when a walking noise emitted from the brush.
This couldn't be a Milly. It was too big. It didn't even sound like it walked on two legs. It sounded like four. Suddenly Angie pulled out a.. Gun? What came out exploded into a bloody mess. It seemed like a winged eye of some sort. "What... What the heck?! What was that?" Willow asked, his barbed tail flicking. "That was an angel. Dont let the name fool you. If you make eye contact with it then you melt. It weird, but dangerous. Be careful." She said. "Im not talking about that! The gun! They havent made those things since the war 50 years ago! Where did you get that? How!" Willow exclaimed. "Oh, its just a family heirloom." Angie replied, putting the gun away. Willow sat there in amazement. Hardly anyone got guns like that! Her family must have had a part in the war. He was surprised it was in such good shape, she must know how to handle a gun.
After a few more hours of walking, they walked into a... Snow forest? "Wow! I had no idea stuff was like this!" Willow said. "You had no idea there were places other than yours?" Angie asked. "Well.." "Man, why are you so slow!" "Its not my fault my family never let me out of town!" As the two were arguing, they heard distant crunching in the snow. Willow yanked out his hatchet while Angie pulled out her gun. But to their surprise it was a... Milly? They lowered their hatchet and gun as a rather pretty Milly appeared.
She had long ears, longer than Willow or Angie, she was around their age and was absolutely stunning in Willows opinion. He always knew long ears were just as common as short ones, but at the same time, long ears were always rather interesting to him. "Ahh, hello! I'm Willow!" He said, trying to produce a smile, but his face was entirely taken up by curiosity. The female stared at him. "Your not from around here." She said, an almost emotionless tone surrounded her voice. How did she know? "Ahh, your right. Im not. Im sorry." Willow said. "Are we intruding?" He asked. "..No. Not that I know of." She said. "My name is Wyntr." She said, still almost emotionless. "Oh, thats a lovely name!" Willow cheered. "This is-" "Names Angie." The female approached Wyntr and Willow. "Be lucky I didn't shoot ya." Wyntr nodded, her hands intertwined at her legs. "So.. What brings you two here?" She asked, tilting her head. At that moment, an absolutely huge Milly stepped behind her from a large bush, so huge, Willow, Angie and Wyntr had to look up to see his face.
One of the first things Willow noticed was one of the strangers ears. It was ripped beyond repair. He had to wonder what happened. "..." The male looked down at them, as if wondering what to say. "H- Hello sir! We were just passing through! No need for any trouble!" Willow waved his hands a bit. "...Why would I cause trouble?" He asked. "As long as your on good terms with my sister its fine." He said. "Ooh! Is Wyntr here your sister?" "No. Its a tree." "Uhh.. What?" "Of course Wyntr is my sister. Who else would it be?" He said. "Oh! Alright!" Willow replied. He did feel a slight hint of dumbness, asking if his sister was Wyntr. How stupid. "Woow! You look like you would put up a tough fight!" Angie remarked. "How else would I have gotten polar bear fur for my pants?" "Wooahh! Sick! What's your name, dude?" She asked, looking genuinely interested. A whole lot more interested than when she and Willow were introducing. "Names Feral. How about you two?" Feral didn't seem emotionless with his tone of voice, mainly... Very calm. "I'm Angie! The 'tard over there is Willow!" "I see." "Hah! How?" "Hm?" "The way your hair is. How do you SEE anything?" "Oh. A joke." "Well yeah!" Willow finally noticed that Feral had a bunch of logs under his arm. "Soo, what brings you two out here?" He asked. "Just collecting firewood. Its cold out here." Feral replied. "Hm, how about we take them home? Its late and we cant just make them walk back." Wyntr suggested. "...Okay." Feral said. "Wow, really! Thanks!" Willow said, smiling. "Ha, nice!" And with that, they started walking, after a few minutes, they saw a cave entrance, really only narrow enough for a Milly to enter.
