JoJo let out a big sneeze.

"Are you all right?" Chloe asked.

"I don't know, I think someone just mentioned my name." JoJo rubbed her nose.

"Who would dare to do a thing like that?" Chloe laughed.

Due to the incident at the reception, they have decided to send the girls away until the place was ready. JoJo invited them to her summer resort in St. Petersburg, where Dima and Brooke could look at their local properties.

They paid visit to the Summer Palace of Peter the Great, and Chloe was fascinated by the history of its previous occupants, Anastasia.

She was staring at a black and white picture of the young princess, so beautiful and innocent, born in an unfortunate era.

She had a thought of bringing the Glass Slippers here, returning to its rightful owner, but not before she could completely clean the blood off the surface. The diamond packed surface made it harder to clean, and she couldn't just go around asking people how to wash diamonds.

While being away from the hotel, she relocated the slippers with all the wedding dresses. After the incident at the reception a few nights before, the Severskys has locked up all the valuables in a heavily guarded room in case of further attempts. She only hopes that Morris and Slava could settle the problem, or at least until after the wedding.

"Come. I want to show you this!"

JoJo took her hand to the far corner, where a wall of medals were on display. She pointed to an old copper name plate, one among hundreds, on it engraved a name: Viktor Zaytsev.

"Who is he?"

"He's the last Royal Guard defending the Reds, die protecting the Royal Princess." JoJo explained. "He did his duty, or die trying."

"Morris..." Chloe remembered his motto.

"Yes. He showed me this when we were together. He told me to never give up trying."

Chloe shared warmth in her heart, slightly envious that JoJo has met Morris before she did.

"Did you miss him?" Chloe asked. "When he left for the State."

"Of course I do!" JoJo smiled. "But he taught me that all things must come to an end, but new and better things will help us forget."

"Did it work?"

"I was nine. I thought I was going to marry him." JoJo threw her a look.

Chloe blushed, couldn't deny that she had that very same thought before. She has spent most of her childhood dancing, and not much time with boys. Morris was the only male friend she knew, and has been with her since puberty. She chuckles at her own childish fantasy.
