Extra chapter 1: pt2

[  March' 2017 ]

After the incident of Minho's father beating him with belt, whenever Minho tried to convince his parents that he was not doing anything wrong, his parents would beat him, every time with something new , including a chair which ended up broken.

On top of that, his mother started to brainwash him, telling him homosexuality was a huge sin, and that's why Minho was being punished.

Soon Minho started to hate himself when he thought  that his parents were correct.

This ended up in Minho rethinking about him and chan, who just started dating a month-ish ago.

Chan always tried to ask Minho about the bruises on his body, and Minho's mood swings. But Minho never told chan a thing, he always laughed it off or very smoothly changed the topic, in return Chan just sighed as he knew forcing the boy wasn't an option.

Even though Minho thought he was committing a sin, yet he couldn't bring himself to breakup with chan.

[ December' 2017 ]

The year was about to end.

The whole year wasn't much different. He would meet chan at school, pretend he was okay, come home late, get beaten up by his father, listen to the brainwashing lectures from his mother, overthink about life choices and chan, sleep and repeat.

Around this time Minho met hyunjin who was one of Chan's best friend as well, and the boys immediately became close. Minho told hyunjin about his life , (except about chan) and hyunjin being a dumb teenager suggested Minho that he needed a distraction, though hyunjin meant something like gaming , sports or music.. but Minho thought of distraction in a different way.

And That's when Minho started to think , what type of distraction he wanted.

[ 12th January' 2018 ]

Minho started to distant himself from chan. Due to all the brainwashing lectures, Minho thought he was dragging chan in committing a sin as well. Even though he was distancing himself from chan, he wanted to help him. But he didn't knew how.

And about the distraction, Minho found it.

Drugs.

He started doing drugs with hyunjin who knew quite a lot about where to buy them from and which ones are the best.

Along with drugs, he thought hurting himself was a good distraction sometimes. The pain made him forget about other life problems for a bit.

Oh.. and he learned about something new, therapy.

Minho's mother recently increased Minho's knowledge by telling him that homosexuality wasn't just a sin, but also a disease that needed to be treated. Beating Minho up was the punishment for the sin he committed, and sending him to therapy was to treat his disease. Pretty fair in Minho's eyes.

"Ahh, I hate this new boy" Minho groaned as he looked at the new boy who was laughing with his friends, few tables away from where Minho and hyunjin sat. ( it was lunch break by the way )

"Who, Han jisung?" Hyunjin asked as he looked where Minho's eyes were.

"Yeah, I hate him, I don't know why"

Actually he did knew why he hated the boy. He hated how the new boy could be himself openly which Minho couldn't, he hated how the boy was always so happy which Minho wasn't, he hated how the boy had so many friend and good grades which Minho didn't, he hated how bruise-less and soft jisung's skin looked which Minho's didn't , he hated how the boy proudly told everyone about his supportive parents when someone asked him which again Minho couldn't relate to. In conclusion, Lee Minho hated Han jisung.

Or he simply envied Han jisung, and this feeling of envy was not sitting right with Minho. Minho wanted to turn the tables, Minho wanted jisung to envy Minho not the other way around.

Today is when Minho found his new distraction, Han jisung.

Minho was going absolutely crazy.

He started bullying jisung, but he didn't thought it as bullying. He thought he was punishing jisung for being homosexual, just like Minho's parents punished him.

Why only Minho. Why not others aswell, is what Minho's mind was set as.

Minho thought about chan. Minho didn't wanted chan to suffer in the life after death. Minho wanted chan to be in heaven with him, and according to Minho's mother, heaven had no place for homos.

So Minho decided. He decided he would punish chan, and also help him with his disease.

When Minho went to chan's apartment and gave him the offer of therapy, chan completely denied without thinking much.

Chan was beyond confused. He didn't knew why his own boyfriend was suddenly acting like a homophobic. This was so weird.

Out of curiosity and concern, chan started asking Minho different questions about his recent behaviour.

Minho kept telling him to stop pushing him for answers of stupid questions, but chan wouldn't stop. So Minho decided that it was the best time to punish chan.

He used his father's method of using a belt to oppress his own boyfriend.

For some strange reason, it hurt Minho to see chan like this but at the same time it was pretty satisfying that for once, Minho wasn't the one begging to stop.

Call Minho crazy, he didn't cared anymore. He just wanted to help, as that's what he told himself.

Done with Minho's background story. Ndjd I don't like the way it turned out but I can't help it , my writing skills suck I know.

+ this may or may not be the actual end of the book. Most probably I'll try writing 1 more extra chapter.. but for now This is the end.  😍💗
