Pet regression is when a human's mindset changes into a pet or animal's mindset. This person may behave as any animal but will not hurt anyone. Pet regression is a safe and therapeutic coping skill. A pet regressor may act like different animals at the same time or any animal any time. Pet regressors may find a "master" or a person that helps them regress and takes care of them.
What isn't pet regression?
Some people may confuse pet regression with pet play. Pet play is a KINK (meaning it's sexual). Pet play is when a person acts like an animal. However, pet regression is when a person turns into an animal (technically their mindset).
It's kind of like age regression.
