Jace Hetcher. That was his name. The moment Charlie said his name I remembered that day. The worst day of my life. And he was the reason.

Jace was the bad boy at my school. He came late every day. Never completed his homework. His parents were super rich and gave Jace whatever he wanted. So basically he walked up to random people and said something like "Sup! Yo, which phone do you have?". If it's something fancy he accepted you, otherwise you had to deal with his gang for the rest of the year.

Jace was known to throw the best parties with lots of underage drinking and hooking up. He was a description of 'perfect'. He had ice blue eyes, black hair that fell on his forehead, and was perfectly built.

The only reason his family had lots of money was because of Jace's twin Chase, one of my best friends. Chase was an actor and he was a superstar. His mom was his manager and his dad managed his financial affairs.

Despite being well-to-do, Jace always irritated me for absolutely no reason. No matter how many times Chase asked him not to. There was this one time, he kept on calling me during class, and the teacher asked me to stand outside the class. I tried to defend myself, but I went outside. The next second I see Jace, laughing his organs out. When he reached me, he turned to me and said "Guess what? I too was just kicked out of my class. We should hang sometime!". I got so mad I kicked his shin and punched his nose, and it started bleeding. I went to the Principal's office for that, but then I was justified and Jace was suspended for a month. And we haven't talked since then. Probably he was too scared or he was raging mad. I'm going to go with the second one, even though it means bad for me.

Charlie, Chase, Annie and I, were the best of friends. We always hung out. Had study dates together. Went to amusement parks together. Tried the new ice cream place free samples together. So, Charlie was also pretty mad at Jace.

Snapping back to reality. Jace replied "Nothing boy. Just here to see my girl." Charlie got so freaking mad. He went "Bruh! You legit were the most annoying person we've ever met, and you think that!" and after that I was pretty, let's say scared of Charlie.

Jace gave his winning smile and said "Look at Charlie. God I've never met such an irritating person before", rolling his r's, because of his mom's Scottish origins.

And about the worst day of my life, it's so bad, I shudder years after, just thinking about it. The fact that he had the nerve to set up the entire day and not even bat an eyelash infuriates me even today. And, right now, my blood was boiling!
