"Excuse me Sir. Mind if I ask, do you know where is this located at?" A man take a brief look at the address she'd shown. He instantly creased his forehead and provide a not so certain answer like he's in a hurry.

Kallen kept on asking to random people she see and follows where they lead her.

"Are you sure this is the address, honey? Because am telling you, it doesn't seem like one" the old lady seemed hesitant yet she tells her where it is located.

Kallen just smiles and continue to find her way till she finally reached the venue.

She was standing infront of an abandoned building.

"Not a good place to celebrate an occasion." she says tilting her head sideways.

She decided to just sit at the nearby rustic bench, trying to contact all of her classmates, holding her present for the celebrant.

Her eyes wander at the whole place. Realizing she couldn't go back anymore. She lost her track.

The signal is also bad so she walk until she finds a good spot.

Four hours had past and her phone drained its battery but still, she couldn't reach them. No one answers at every possible way she did to contact them.

Kallen kept on waiting and thinking where they could be, checking the address over and over again. She know, the address that her fellow classmate gave to her is the address written on the small sticky note in her hand right now.

"They fooled me, hehe"

She heaved a deep breath to stop her tears to fall. Realizing no one will come anymore.

A loud thunder booms, lightning strucks above crossing the darken sky as the strong pouring rain follows.

"Great, what's next?"

She shove the present to her bag and stayed at the entrance of the abandoned building she found. But the rain still got worse and worse.

Reaching her freezing point for a good half an hour, she decided to walk her way out the road feeling the cold breeze of the air since she's already wet and cold.

Freezing to the point that she's chilling and numb, she can no longer feel her feet yet she still continue to walk her way.

Fast light comes her way, swish sound passed to her ears that tips her left cheek. She followed where it goes in the middle of the dark.
