Dream tossed his keys on the side table and kicked off his shoes. His home was much more comforting then the crowded bus that got him there, or the cold office job. When he majored in coding he wasn't hoping be coding a website to sell shoes. But here he was.

"I'm home!" Dream called out, hoping his kitten would come running. The blond cat did not come running, instead he twitched his ear slightly from on top of the fridge.

The cat was not supposed to be on top of the fridge. The only way up was by jumping off the bread box, which then made the cat unable to get down. The bread box would be pushed away by the jumps force, leaving no where for the cat to jump, and even if it wasn't pushed away then it would have been to hard to jump on.

"What am I gonna do with you!" Dream sighed and pulled out a stool from the pantry. He stepped up and looked the cat in the eyes. Green eyes met blue, one annoyed and one defiant. As much as Dream was annoyed, he couldn't deny the cat had more of a personality then any other cat.

Dream grasped his hand around the cat, picking up him by his stomach. The cat lashed out instantly, drawing blood with a small gash on Dream's arm. Dream hissed and placed the cat on the floor quickly.

"What do you have against me Tommy?"

Tommy dashed away from Dream, slinking under the couch. His tail lashed furiously, echos sounding from under the couch as his tail hit mesh bottom.

Dream sighed, and walked into his room. Tommy noticed how he left the door slightly ajar for him, and if he could have smiled he would.

Tommy walked over to the food bowl left out for him and took a quick snack break. He ate idly, twitching his ears for noises.

A computer starting up, and then a discord call being joined. Well Tommy didn't quite know what either of the noises were, but he reconsidered them. Dream would know be talking to people, meaning no attention for Tommy. He couldn't let that stand.

Tommy pushed open the door causing it to squeak. Both Tommy and Dream jumped at the sudden noise, and Tommy hissed at the door slightly.

"Dream?" A voice sounded from the computer. Dream turned back to the computer. Tommy waved his tail slightly.

"Sorry, just my cat opening the door." Dream laughed slightly. Two people where on the screen. Tommy knew them as Brit and Sappy, and well that clearly wasn't their names it did the job.

Tommy sat next to Dream's chair. Dream looked down, his eyes widening in panic. He warned the cat not to, but as soon as Tommy saw the change he sprung onto Dream's lap, and used it as a stepping stool to get onto the desk.

"TOMMY!" Dream called out, not bothering the cat at all. The two on call burst out laughing, having seen all of it through the face cam. Tommy sniffed around the desk before settling on the can of coke next to Dream.

He sat next to it, sticking his noise into the can. Dream protested, and Tommy pulled out quickly. Not because of Dream's calls but because of the sharp metal. Luckily he didn't get cut.

Tommy was still fascinated by the drink, beginning to lick the small drops on the edge of the can. Dream yelped in panic, grabbing it away.

"Did that cat just drink coke?" Brit asked through laughs. Dream nodded slowly, watching Tommy plop down on the desk in annoyance.

"What the heck!" Sappy said, amused curiosity filled his face. Dream wheezed and quickly typed something into google.

"Ok, he only had a few drops he'll be ok. But no more for you Mister." Dream smiled at the cat. Tommy tilted his head with a light hiss. Dream rolled his eyes affectionately.

"How do you keep him around? I swear you have ten new horror stories a day." Brit asked in disbelief. Dream shrugged and scratched Tommy's chin, which Tommy excepted stubbornly.

"He never does anything to bad, nothing I can't handle. He's annoying at first, but I've grown to like his company." Dream turned his attention to the cat next to him. He had curled up on the desk, purring gently.

He would have been to perfect distance to let Dream use the computer, and just happily sleep on the desk.

If Dream's computer mouse wasn't in Tommy's paws with teeth marks already in it.
